Do we have any idea what fraymotifs actually do, besides having some role in combat? I don't recall it ever coming up...

I think they are the equivalent to Problem Sleuth's Battle Techniques/Combat Operandi.

That would be silly.

I think these deaths are, for the moment, genuine. They'll probably serve another purpose later, and I'd be very surprised if we never see these characters again. But for now, I think, we have 2 dead trolls on our hands. And both of them died with holes through their chests.

Actually yeah, I'm with Gem on this one. Just like knowing the future doesn't seem to be a big deal in this story, I think dieing is also less permanent. After all Ariadia died before the story even began and was still a major player in the Troll arc, maybe we'll just have MechaFef later on.

I doubt we're getting mecha replacements. Aradia was a very unique case. I doubt Equius even feels like making more at this point.

That said, and on the subject of Aradia, we've still got someone around who speaks to the dead.

Also: Sollux is not dead. There's a reason his sound effect was "KO'd" instead of "DEAD"
