Well, for someone who sleeps half the time, being able to interact with the world while still sleeping would be a very useful ability. I notice she's wearing the Skaian dress in her dream as well, as seen in her portrait above the fireplace.

EDIT: Well, it looks like shit is getting real again. I feel there will be two camps here: John is a nutbug, and Shenanigans. I am in the camp of Shenanigans. Why? Well, the flashback made it clear that the posters were like that back in December, back when John and Jade just happened to be talking about the trolls. So, I'm thinking the trolls had something to do with it. It's been shown they can do some reality bending beforehand, by Pestering Jade when she's blocked them AND logged off. Also, the Medium is somewhere outside of time, demonstrated by the fact that WV and Rose were able to interact with John simultaneously, despite being 413 years apart.

Speculation: The trolls are using hacked and modded versions of the S'Burb Server.

It's called a theme. Themes happen in fiction. Like how all the kid's Pesterchum handles (considering John's original handle) and the Troll's handles (that we've seen so far) correspond to a two nucleotide sequence (GG, TT, GT, TG, etc).

I'll never understand why you people don't get adblocker. There ain't no slipshine ads when I look at the site, though I did prefer having the comic jump on the left and larger, for times when I delete my cookies and what have you. Ah well.
