 Took a break from the Shyria head to do a full-body modeling project. Reference image is based on scientific illustrations of Velociraptor and photos of Andean condors.

Getting back in the saddle. In-progress:
 Will have to look up some anatomy drawings for the neck and figure out how to make the hair integrate more smoothly with the head. Though it's possible it's just a matter of the hair looking too detailed in comparison? Maybe I should focus on just finding a simpler way to color hair. e: Also, modeling homework: Model an instrument! I decided no ordinary instrument would do.

Hey it only took forever, but I drew something!
 I made the smaller version then doubled it for the bigger one, which I'll probably end up editing further because my sprites are always tiny and I think I can handle more detail. |
