Yeah, you need to scale that down to the original size, for us to see anything.

Open the image in a tab by itself and you can see it scaled to your screen, though I do admit that the size is a bit excessive.

Doc, you can also host it using Photobucket, which will automaticly scale it down.
Also when scaning images with your scanner. Make sure to set the resolution to 100%. That'll keep it at a reasonable size.

I made something a few weeks ago and it was bad so I remade it. It looks better now.

He's an excellent learning assistant!
Pretty sure this goes well beyond "sketch", but Shy did it first so nyeh.
Learning more about modeling and all that in class. We're now covering UV unwrapping and I think I'm doing an okay job for my first time. Ignoring that he's currently bald until I learn how to do hair in a way that doesn't look like an extension of his skull. Here's a couple in-progress shots before I start adding any serious detail.

Good start for your first time.
Which program are you using for your modeling and unwraps?

All Maya. I don't know how to use any other modeling programs yet, but there is a class on Mudbox I'll probably be taking next semester.

Haven't used Mudbox myself. Most of my stuff is either Maya or 3Ds Max, though recently I've found myself preferring Max for UV unwraps.

Final project of the semester was to add some bump and/or specularity to the model texture, and pose it using a skeleton.
I guess I need more study, especially with regards to how to make a specular map look right. Also, how to skin that dumb chain skirt so it doesn't stretch horribly.
