If I play it right I can get them to work towards my goals with some prodding. I just have to be careful and make sure they think it is all their idea. First though I gotta spread some rumors and stuff. Good thing I have a good network set up for that kind of thing.

Overthrew their country in a bloody war (On there side, not mine.), enslaved pretty much their entire population to build the city in the diagram, and I think i might have killed/enslaved their families/friends/other loved ones.

If i recall there was no greater time in Tabletop RPG for me than this one time where my party ( a thief a sorcerer and me as a Monk ) decided that the world was too Evil and that there was no point in risking our lives if that would make our lives a living hell.
So, since we were Heroes our entire lives and lived amongst the scum of the scum we decided that the best thing would be to trick the world... taking secret identities to fight crime. So, by the Day we had a Tavern/Brotel that we managed in one of the major towns in the land... but at night we became the "Avenging Brotherhood". With full costumes and the best items we could get for our cash (and level 15) we set off to fight crime in the night. The Thief invested in items that allowed him to sense danger, trap enemies, move faster and walk on any surface... so he became Spider Man (or "The Tarantula" as he called himself), the sorcerer invested in a huge selection of feats to customize his spells, several spells from a wide selection and a super-powerfull ring that gave him quicker casting and extra castings... so he was the Green Lantern (Or "The Guardian") I, on the other hand, as a Monk, decided to invest in a selection of items that would allow me to move faster, be stronger, hide in the shadows, and invested in as many skills as i could possibly do, i became the Dark Knight. Yes... i was actually able to play as a Medieval version of BATMAN on D&D3 It was the most awesome thing ever. And i totally suggest you all to try it. |

So alright, this one time in second edition, our wizard massively fucked up a teleport and stuck me and the rogue naked in a port controlled by orks. He then sold all of our things to pay for the costs of a dungeon crawl that the party basically failed. This wizard was already on our shit list for a few things, and his player was... well we eventually kicked him out of the group for being a supreme douche.
Anyway, me and the rogue had enough of him at this point, so we decided to brutalize him a bit. We got masks. I, the ronin, spent ten gold on supplies, and carved/painted a work of art to wear. The rogue took a sack, poked two holes in it, and called it a day. Later that evening, the wizard was assaulted and beaten to within an inch of his life by the strangest two thugs he'd ever seen.

Well, to be fair I wasn't targeting them specifically.

So in otherwords, you really didn't do anything bad at all. Sounds like a good way to start a kingdom if you ask me.
