Okay, I have two things here for you, GC.

One: -sama is the honorific you would use if you're putting someone on a figurative pedestal. Like, say you really REALLY like Chuck Norris. You would call him Norris-sama. Alternatively, the Japanese refer to "god-like figures" i.e. their superiors at work with the -sama honorific. Saying onii-sama is practically likening your older brother to God. -san is a much more general way of referring to someone that you're either not familiar with, or that you are familiar with them but prefer to respect them by remaining "distant" and using -san. If you're familiar with the person, and don't mind being close to them, use -kun (although it is generally not manly for a man to use the -kun honorific. Unless you're Shunsui Kyoraku or Jyuushiro Ukitake.)

Two: Name the Spearow Atton!

I agree with naming him Pidgey.

Alternatively: En Taro Adun. No, I don't think you can fit all of that. maybe just Entaro; that sounds like an alright name.
