Team White Mage should have seen this coming.
Why do I have a feeling that the next comic will start with a panel hinting that White Mage is beating up BM with her hammer off-screen? Maybe it's that awesomly furious look in her eyes? (Which we, by the way, haven't seen in a long time now)

Of course now that Doom Cult will probably finally be succesful and summon forth something to end the world. They were on the Light Warrior's list of things to deal with after Chaos was gone.

You know, White Mage did cause the entire plot of this story to happen. Her first act was causing Black Mage to actually want to form a group of four that she would be in.
Then she forced the Light Warriors to encounter Sarda, which really formed most of the comic's story. Then she killed the final boss after it manifested. also she began the universe

Kinda funny that BM was so certain that Fighter wouldn't be able to find two people and they ended up with three, plus Black Belt who was late.

...probably a good idea not to piss off the God-killing mother of the universe.

But maybe Chaos went back in time like Sarda did but Sarda accidentally became the exit point for Chaos. But maybe it was actually Chaos's doppleganger they fought (and don't assume the Castle of Ordeals has an organized schedule) who was waiting for the real Chaos to appear.
But what it really must be is that under BM's hat is Chaos. Or his heir or something. But BM was more of an alternate shell for Chaos's soul to reincarnate into in the event of death. |
