It was in Dragon Magazine 2... something. I forgot. It was a feat that allowed one to hit prone as an additional attack (Or, so I believe. Haven't played a tripfighter in months.).
And yes, DB, it's 6 Fort 5 Refl 6 Will. Last edited by Kazastankas; 10-15-2004 at 11:06 AM. |

Eep! It's a Psychic Warrior! The epitome of twinkdom, with Rage and Fast Movement! I cower in fear.
EDIT: Damn, I'm going to feel inferior with the only negative stat modifier in the game. Oh well, I'd better make up a decent backstory to offset that. By the way, ARE we doing the FR jig, so I can use a dwarven stronghold from there, or no? Last edited by Kazastankas; 10-15-2004 at 12:54 PM. |

Dante, just remember what RD said about twinking :p
Hmm...after reading her original backstory, I wondered why you didn't make LEG a Dervish? They also have some twinkable powers.... [edit] hey, can I subtract points from my other ability scores to get my Dexterity to 18 before racial modifiers?:p

Finally, I have something to post. It's far from complete, but I'll continue to work on it. These past few days have been pretty busy for me, I'm afraid.
Heh, I may not trust the artefacts of luck in the real world, but the computer dice seemed to like me... Here are my rolls from DiceMage (rolling 4d6, keeping the top 3, re-rolling 1s, as described by RD): 15 13 14 8 16 15 Furthermore, I have swapped the 8 for the god-roll of 16. One thing concerns me: I have been told about a feat called Spellcasting Prodigy from the Faerun setting which sounds like it could be very useful to my character. Unfortunately, the WoC documents on the site that Dante pointed to don't have this feat, so I was wondering if anyone could advise me on this, and perhaps point me to references for feats, skills, and spells which aren't in the WoC documents. In any case, here he is:

Thaum, your character dosen't actually have a weapon. I know he's a spellcaster, but at least take a light crossbow. You can't cast all the time.

Besides, I *generally* play halfling rogues. which would mean I do not have any experience on rapiers and their specialness. Plus, you can use a shortsword when grappled. A rouge thats grappled and unarmed = dead. Rouges in combat rely on sneak attack damage anyways. Actual weapon damage and strength is secondary. Contingencies and skills are primary. (Halflings are small creatures, so a medium weapon like a rapier is b-ad.) Anyways. IHMN, he does have a point, but your AB wont change any with a rapier. Only the critical range changes, to 18-20 2x, and is size: Medium A rapier can only do piercing damage, and may not slash, Making it harder to damage creatures resistant to piercing, shuch as undead, constructs, and... elementals? I think.
