The problem is we only have one kill a day and getting normal cultists is not helpful.
We can afford to waste lynches (by missing targets) if it gets us closer to working out how media works. Lynching a reuglar cultist and gaining no info from it is at best a neutral and at worst a negative depending upon numbers.
There is a chance Truce is telling the truth (I've seen it happen often enough) and it at least worth following up on.
But I have an even better reason to vote him off: Because people who pull off such batshit stunts are terribly harmful to the town when they are trying to work out the dynamics of the game. It is disruptive to conversation and will impair our ability to work out things down the track if he keeps on with his crazy shits.

In mafia games, it's against the rules to contact in-game players outside of thread about mafia. I agree you weren't trying to cheat, but it could be construed as such, so in future your best bet is to PM the person running the game.
