Actually, considering the possibilities, I think that if the cult had some manner of secret role amongst their numbers that could influence the outcome, Mesden would have mentioned it rather than appeal to our dark sides.

The simple fact she didn't say something like "The cult will likely still win because one of our members has a role that kills two of their lynchers" suggests no such role exists.

There are 8 townie votes and 6 non-townies. Also, with no cult leader, the mafiate and cult victory conditions are mutually exclusive. If everyone stays true to their side, guaranteed town win.
