It really has more to do with how it was portrayed.

YAFGC has officially gone past the realm of "deserved humiliation conga" and right into "pointless sadism".

Holy hell is Tarquin ever shaping up to be the best villain ever. He's genre savvy, crazy prepared, and excellent at dramatic timing. He's like Evil Batman with an empire.
I can't wait until he encounters Xycon.

Batman is great at timing, but not dramatic timing; he works with psychology rather than dramaturgy. It's more like he's Batman and the Joker combined. With Luthor's propensity for running teams. Tarquin is one part Lex Luthor, two parts Joker and three parts Batman. So yeah, definitely in the top three villains.
By the way since the last three people to mention him got it wrong, it's Xykon.

(... Though by no means as always - YAFGC seems to delight in the longevity of it's "mostly" bad guys - if not its baddest guys - more so than its heroes.) EDIT: HAH! Take that, iPad! Eat the power of keyboard-and-mouse's easy editing!

Hahaha, War Man is the best character in all of the comics on Riceboy.

also ryan sohmer never performs cunnilingus and doesn't know what a sandwich is
I don't know if I'm alone in this (probably), but I have been following the latest story arc of Least I Could Do with a degree of morbid fascination that I've otherwise mostly reserved for the republican primaries. Every morning I wake up worried that the newest strip is going to defy all rational expectations and retroactively render the previous installments inoffensive, with some kind of Michael Haneke-esque "Rayne is a terrible person and you should feel terrible for finding his antics amusing!"
But no, it turns out that he's just delightfully and refreshingly non-PC! |

Well, you shouldn't mock someone who's trying to learn. Slap them in the face until they can show a modicum of politeness maybe, but not mock.
Also I had a hearty chuckle at the strip where they play poker with Magic the Gathering cards.

So I finally actually... read... a little bit of LICD.
Fuck you, Betty. I want to say something like "I hope you die in a car accident," but I just can't think of anything that really sums up how much pain I wish you over this. So I hope you keep reading LICD until the day you die, and that your brain is the first one to be harvested and tested for its use as a webserver, and it is eventually purchased by Ryan Sohmer to run LICD forever.
