Vote: Demetrius
I have refrained from doing so thus far due to lack of any and all reason, but when someone roleclaims scum and votes for themself, its just asking to die. |

I am guessing Demetrius is just lashing out at all the people who are voting for him without reason. He has every right to do that. Even a crazy town would not lynch anyone for fun. They would want to have some evidence that the person is scum. On top of that, no one likes to be persecuted against without knowing why.
It's completely illogical to vote for Demetrius at the moment. Show us some arguments, please.

The SK is best worked with the town until there are but a few scum left, then townies die.
As for B_real's reasonings, they are nice and all, but completely false in my motivations. I was just screwing around. I know the people that I was after (not the people I was necessarily voting for, but those I planned on hitting at Night) were scum because I'm damn good. I look at patterns and the "voice" of posts, check them for consistency against earlier posts and the poster's general tone, then I look at that related to other people that I have suspicions about and form a sort of association web. Some of the more skilled players make this harder to do, what with the traps they lay themselves, and so I screw up every now and again, but for the most part I am confident in my decisions. I have no revenge role, I RCed what I am.

I'm just plain curious. Were you the one who tried to kill me?

Oh hell yes.
I was gonna scapegoat Tendronai or Nayno on that... But you didn't die. ((Also, update your damn mafia!))

Hey Demetrius, word of advice comming from the guy with a 100% scum kill rate when he was the vigilante. Finding scum can be broken up into 4 ways listed from best to worst.
1. Basing off of personal prejudice (Instinct). 2. Finding little clues from the GM. 3. Posting patterns 4. Random killing. I use them in that order too!

I had a feeling he was some type of scum when he tried to press to lynch me out before I got even a word in. But you know... And I know this'll be crazy, I say keeping Demetrius temporarily isn't a bad thing. Us lynching him is doing Mafia a favor and sparing them one of their night kills to use on us instead of him.
PS: Dear Town Bodyguards if you still exist, please don't think I want you to protect him. God no. |

I generally work with 3 and 2, with a possible Night One 1.
I usually split up post patterns into several parts: 1. Content consistency. 2. Tone variations. 3. Actual post times in relation to accusations on them. 4. Patterns in relation to other people I suspect. 5. Any correlations in posting behavior to patterns I have set up as "scum patterns". I don't like to go by personal prejudice unless I think I may have to. For instance, Bunny entering the game changed my scheme for the game hardcore. With Bunny around I knew that I could count on something with you, Tendronai, and Bunny that would be bad for me. I saw Bunny as the catalyst for the situation and decided to get them gone. That was when everything went to hell for my plan. I think I had done a fairly good job of explaining it away and was hoping to last to Night to knock you off, supposing I had lasted the Night I would've then been pretty much home free as far as people who would be specifically gunning for me. By avoiding going by personal prejudice, I can play a more unpredictable game and more easily explain my actions during the Day due to a lack of any correlation to my Night actions. Super-quick EDIT for Bunny's post: Gee, I wish I hadn't said quite so much...
