Special Versus Match!

By Raiden's request, we're doing a special duel in the Pantheon of Gods, using sealed "true" Raiden versus Phoenix as the Maiden of Endings. Weapons allowed. While I'd intended to keep this a secret until the end of the Avatars RP, it can't be helped, since both of us are eager to test our abilities.

Anyway, spoilers aside...

Name: Saturn

Appearance: Phoenix's basic appearance, with long white hair, and clad in flowing violet robes. Otherwise, she's fairly unremarkable, despite the sad, forlorn expression.

Weapon:
Blade of Endings: A light, one-handed slashing sword made from orichalcum inlaid with sigils of jade, which instantly snuffs the life of any mortal it would so much as scratch. More powerful beings and deities are unaffected, but the Blade of Endings is still a pussiant weapon.

Powers:
Astrology: By manipulation of the stars in the night's sky, Saturn can effect the fates of those she chooses, not unlike a Rune discipline.
Commanding the Pattern Spiders: By exerting her command over the pattern spiders, forces that enforce reality upon all creation, Saturn can preform similar miracles to those of Raiden's Rune Mastery.
Portfolio: The Violet Brier of Sorrows: Saturn's auspicious abilities of Medicine, Awareness, Martial Arts, Bureaucracy, and Athletics exemplify the epitome of these skills, even amongst gods. Her sword style bears the same name.
Immortality: Saturn is, like any celestial incarna, immortal, and in possession of similar powers of regeneration as Raiden.

[Raiden]

SPECIAL ARENA MATCH

Because Phoenix and I got bored, we're going to have a special arena fight. This will have no effect on the tournament itself.

Name: Raiden ("True" form)
Appearance: This is Raiden's true god form when his seals are intact. While not on level with Universal Guardian, it is still an incredible power boost from his human avatar form. Raiden becomes a humanoid being of pure blue energy, with the only organic thing left on him is his long white hair.
Powers:

- Non-physical Body: Other than his hair, Raiden's body is pure energy, which means that he is not restricted by a physical bodies limitations in output and shape. He can change parts of his body into different forms, and has incredibly high strength and speed.

- Energy manipulation: In this form, Raiden controls much more than simply electricity. He controls pure energy, which he can control any way he pleases.

- Mastery of Rune: The ancient language of creation. These runes are capable of altering reality to his whim.

- Immortality: He's a God. He has incredible regeneration, and if he does die, he can come back into the Pantheon.

[Mesden]

Another special match. Now you people get to see yours truly stomp Raiden into a pulp.

Name: Mesden (In true form as soon as the battle starts.)
Appeareance: Not tellin. Takes the whole point out of the transformation! She'll enter in her regular, Red clad form, though.

Powers

Pure Essence of Spirituality: Similar to Raiden in the fact that most physical restraints don't matter to her anymore. Her body now becoming completely harmonized with all of the spiritual point of being.

Spiritual control: Her match to Raiden's energy control and then some. You'd be surprised what near absolute influence on ethereal and spiritual realm/beings can do in a fight.

Rune: Not on Raiden's level, but enough to help out in certain aspects.

Immortality: She isn't going to die in this form. Her perfectly harmonized essence gives her the near infinite capacity for spontanteuos rebuilding of nearly any and all kinds of damage.

Is it just me or does anyone find it extremely funny that the only part of Raiden that is not energy is his hair?

Nope, its not just you. I keep having a mental picture of him trying to walk through a wall or something and leaving the hair behind.

Since everyone seems to be whipping out True Forms, perhaps I should whip out my Untrue Form. It is like all your true forms, except more powerful and generally superior in every way that matters. It also has better fashion sense. Did I mention it can kill you with its thoughts?

So Raiden, when you say only your hair stays the same, do you mean ALL of your hair?

*Cough* Pubic hair innuendo *Cough*

Hair? HAIR?

Y'know, if he were to go through that wall, he would leave his head hair full of dandruf, his sweaty armpits full of BO, and... well I don't think I wanna go through the last one. I'm scared. Not if Raiden will get angry, but the mental picture could be a fate worse than hell.
