Anyhoo.(before everyone starts speaking Al Bhed) IHMN, you could be an Al Bhed Dark Knight, who KNOWS how to use machina, but chooses to use swords. You disagree with the whole summoner thing but you are going along because you either want to see exactly what happens, or you try to sabotage the pilgrimage (but not trying to kill the summoner and their guardians), or something like that. Just ideas. And I like the idea with Yojimbo from Baaj. It makes sense.

Name: Dezil Age: 29 Sex: Male Race: Human Job: Ronin Place of birth: ??? Blitzer: No Short Bio: A strange man of an unknown origin, he appeared recently traveling with random groups of summoners. He is regarded as a mercenary, someone who is willing to help anyone for the right price. However, he is not regarded as heartless, and has been known to help people in need for free. He is a total unknown, no one quite knows what his intentions are, but if they can recieve his help, most people accept. Weapon of choice: Sword (Think more Auron, less Tidus in his sword design/style.)

That would be a very ugly baby...the ronso/guado thingy...
Be a Guado Trainer/Beastmaster. It seems natural enough and people wouldnt mind you. EDIT: OOh, speaking of the whole Al Bhed summoner thingy, what if there was an Al Bhed summon? I'm thinkin Alexander since its always portrayed as a giant holy-ray-shootin mech. And we can just say that the temple is in some Al Bhed city (since 'Home' isnt around yet if Cid built it himself) that either (1) got destroyed by Sin, which would further cement their dislike of anything having to do with the temples and Yevon, or (2) It just gets buried under the sand. Hmm, I personally am playing around with a rogue guado dark knight/martial artist. Any thoughts? I'm uncertain but it could be interesting to play. A heretic from one of the supposedly most devoted races.

So, if the summoner doesn't do the dance where the dead gets sent into the 'next life,' and that person doesn't turn into a monster, are they a regular person that can't die? Meaning he's invincible? Or just like everyone else minus a soul?
And guardians are basically bodyguards with cool titles, right? Is there anything required to be one, like a knighting in a king's court? And could I be another 'mysterious dude,' mostly because I still don't understand how stuff works? (The explanations were good, but I want to play the 'other dimension/world /time dude, Thumpman! Comic relief ensues!)

First of all please spare us from thumpman. This should be at least semi serious.
And the unsent are basically everybody else minus a soul. They die but they come back later. Kinda go away then come back. Like maester seymour. (god I hated that sob, they really did a good job with making him evil.)

You don't like Thumpman? I understand the need for seriousness, but don't be hatin', dawg. *rappa pose* Thanks for the explanation on 'unsent,' as I thought they would be like zombies form RE that act like normal people. So, basically, if you have a really strong spirit, you can't die...?
So I see that 'dragoon' hasn't been picked yet. Is 'martial artist' still up for grabs? |
