But besides the ones mentioned, School Rumble is a really funny romantic comedy type anime. The first season is completely recommendable, but meh, the second season seemed too girly but whatever. Also, Paranoia Agent was great right up until the end where it just seemed to make absolutely no sense and it confused to no end. Last edited by Red Fighter 1073; 03-09-2008 at 05:51 PM. |

How about a little anime called LUPIN THE THIRD?!?!?
You know the greatest anime ever made? Also you get the added entertainment of searching high and low all over the internet to find the episodes! What fun!

Also, add Busou Renkin (my favorite shonen anime), Code Geass (Japan has a revolution against British people who don't really look like British people!), and Great Teacher Onizuka (anime about a perverted middle school teacher.... who is secretly Jesus! ... okay he's probably not Jesus, but I'll be damned if he isn't some sort of deity since that motherfucker can do anything). |

On GITS: Watch the first movie and the SAC series. Avoid Innocence and Solid State Society.
Also, Black Magic M-66. Ninja Scroll was mentioned, but there's also a miniseries. Watch it. Black Lagoon was also mentioned. Get this YESTERDAY. Black Magic M-66 is another good movie, and a creation of Shiirow Masamune (the guy who created GITS) Angel Cop was pretty good as I recalled. DEVILMAN. And finally, Persona: Trinity Soul. It's like Bleach, but good. A bit slow but a good story. And if you're asking, yes, it's based on the Persona RPGs. It's supposed to be a sequel of P3, apparently.

Mushi-shi
Alright, you most likely have never heard of this but....
It's a non-violent, dramatic with a story line that I would say has to be more deep than almost any anime I've ever seen, if not the most deep. Mushi-shi Its out on DVD, and is the most highly-accredited underdogs of the year. You can watch the first two episodes for free on Gaia online.

Dunno if this has been referenced yet, but I was just made aware of this site: http://animethat.com/ .
As for whether it's legal or anything else, I haven't been able to check them out. Plus, I use Veoh. But they seem to have a good list of series.
