The town had been in an uproar, divided into two. However, now, after a fierce struggle for sheer numbers, with each side taking turns at having the advantage, things had settled down, with nobody being able to break the stalemate. Things are not destined to remain this way for long though, for eventually one side must give in to the other.

It because of that did Ecurt, also known as ChesireThief, had taken the stage. All the lights dimmed save for a single spotlight which focused on Ecurt, who gathered the attention of those still not aware of him by tapping his finger on the microphone held up on the stand. With an innocent smile, he waved to the crowd, before clearing his throat and beginning to speak.

"Hello everyone," he said. "I'm sure you're all aware of the current situation, so there's no need to talk about what's already been done. I'm simply here to give you an offer once again-an offer that you don't have to take, if you don't want to live that is.

"Join our side. As things are now, we the Maltese hold the advantage. Though things are held a stalemate currently, we're going to kill one of you at night, giving us the advantage tomorrow. By then, everyone's fate will have been decided, and only one question will matter. Were you with us?

"I hope the answer is yes."

The lights flashed back on, and Ecurt stepped away from the mike. However, everything had fallen into a hush, and there was no need to amplify his voice. Everyone could hear clearly what he said next, what he said before he turned and left. "Yazai."

You do, of course, realize that by "tonight" we'll have killed you, probably? So, I don't see where you get the upperhand.

I don't see how he corrects you.

Even if both GARUD and Demonlink sign on and decide not to join us, we still have Crazyben and Daisuke when they log on.

If both sides are equal, then it results in a no lynch.

Then, at night, we kill one of the people who voted for Mesden.

Tomorrow, by the sixth day, we'll have the majority.
