Except she's the negative mirror image of the black Queen, which we've already seen. Are you even paying attention? Sorry, but most of the people I've stumbled across making that statement have been completely ignorant. Hell, I'm still telling some people that the doll here was always there, and wasn't stealth-edited in after Spades Slick. The missing arm/scarred eye has become a motif, much like 4/13.

At this point it wouldn't surprise me if John ended up that way. Maybe he will on April 13th.

It's some sort of timeskip. My immediate assumption is that, since the Medium is timeless, things are kind of fluid as to what happens between the kids now. Since John snuck ahead of the gates, now he's at a point in time where Dave is much further along.
