Okay.

I give up on Homestuck. I am waiting for it to be finished before I read another strip of this mind-screwing cluster-fuck of time travel, alternate dimensions, and CRYPTIC BULLSHIT.

I am going to wait for a method to this madness.

(This is not me disparaging Homestuck, I actually really like it. I am just confused, and it gets worse with every strip, not better like it should.)

We just saw Jack store Cal inside himself. That means he could very well still have Cal when he enters the troll session.

You know, as I recall, the popular assumption was that Cal was merely a dream manifestation from Dave's psyche due to the traumatic experience of having grown up with that creepy-ass clown puppet his whole life, which never would have happen if he hadn't manifested Cal in his dream in the first place. But it occurs to me that none of that dream manifestation bullshit doesn't seem to happen any other time, since Derse and Prospit aren't actually dream worlds, they're just perfectly regular physical planets inhabited by bodies the kids control when they're asleep.

So the more reasonable explanation would be, given this last string of updates, that Cal is merely a construct of Derse, one that apparently always held a special place in the heart of Jack Noir and who just happened to find Dream Dave and got its shits and giggles from terrorizing him until Dream Rose showed up, chucked him out the window, and eventually made his way back in time to Earth with Baby Bro.
