I thought we were just people who stabbed answers out of each other. Well, more just me doing that to you... Although, there is Arhra V's irrational hatred of Asheth (Hmm, is there a sprite sheet for her?) and our thematic echoing...

I... I just never thought about it that way.

Maybe we need some time apart, so we can re-examine our relationship at a distance.

Arhra plus roman numerals is one of the many things that will be explained in the next comic! Blame five Avvies worth of psuedo-continuity...

By the way, Ahra, what program did you make that in? It looks like you've got some moderately advanced effects (or put in a lot of extra pixel work) with those butterfly wing-looking things in the second panel. If it's Paint.NET, I can give you some tips, or I'm sure Mac would be happy to help you with Paint Shop. I think Loyal might use GIMP, too.

Paint! Ahahahaha!

I just felt that panel needed a little more detail and that the occaisonal random inexplicable thing would be funnier. It's actually a part of a nebula from an image I had lying around - I put it in and went "Hey, that kind of looks like wings" so I tweaked it a little more.

If you did that all just in Paint, you could do a lot more in more advanced software.

I'll admit I did a LOT of stuff in Paint when I first started doing Gaia avatar edits. There's really nothing wrong with it (unless you're using the Vista version, which has THE ugliest palette I've ever seen), but having a program with layers can be a lifesaver. I can offer you Paint.NET as one that has a low learning curve and layering ability. It also has an active forum with lots of additional effects to spice things up, if you delve into more advanced stuff.
