I'm intrigued on how you plan on going forward with this Blood. And yes that is something I would try had my last fall smartened me up.
On a second note, I know I have been dragging my feet with my comic, so you can expect the last comic (read Cop Out) for Thad and Mac sometime tomorrow plus a teaser comic for NPF Tactics. Thad will hopefully do a better explanation comic after the Last edited by Daimo Mac, The Blue Light of Hope; 02-01-2009 at 08:27 PM. |

And now, the question on everyone's mind:
Am I in your next comic, Mac? Also, I have no idea what happened in your finale. No, that's not right. I have no idea why the things that happened happened or how they affected each other. That's closer.

What happenned in the end was I pulled a Deus Ex Machina, instead of Thad, Loyal and I figuring out how to get back, I had fifth use the Deus Ex Machina to save us. Crappy ending and I hate it so much but I wanted to be done with it. |

The NPF Tactics, yes.
Trust me Loyal, your role is better in this one that's for damn sure. ?edit And to Clarify, that is just a teaser comic. The official comic starts in March. I still need to get this organized. Last edited by Daimo Mac, The Blue Light of Hope; 02-01-2009 at 11:39 PM. |

I have to say, the teaser turned out well. That's my hand again for Rick holding the box. I flipped it, maybe posterized or oil painted or something, abused the crap out of the paint bucket, fixed a few pixel issues, and handed it off to Mac. It's been a while since he asked for it, so I can't quite remember what I did.

Holy crap, two new comics after mine. That is unheard of these days.
NonCon, good job on yours. Would advise using word bubbles but nonetheless, made me chuckle. Blood, you did a good job. |

Well, if nobody noticed, I did make my newest installment for the series. Honestly? Went back to an older style of doing word bubbles. Got a bit sloppy with them, but really, it does offer me more control and less busy work. Until this comic, I'd recently been making the tails in single-pixel-wide lines of anti-aliased white, closing them off at the top, filling them as best I could with the magic wand, and going back to fix everything up pixel by pixel to avoid them looking jagged before using an outlining effect. Frankly, I was doing more work for a product I wasn't happy with, since the plugin didn't handle corners well, making the tail tips very nubbed. By breaking down and going back to a 2-pixel AA line to make the polygon, filling it, and then tracing with a 3-pixel AA line like I started doing way back when, I got much better control over my corners and could better judge whether I liked the shape and fix it by simply covering more or less of the white.
Sometimes, a manual touch is just better.
