Something is soaring through the air
I think you better beware It casts a huge shadow And gives a large bellow Which sounds like a mighty roar With powerful flames it did pour To toast it's lunch in the sky The green dragon ate bird pie. If I were you, I'd run In case it's having fun She might still be seeking for food Or in a terrible mood Either way watch for the flame Because dragon's are hard to tame. |

"Grass bridge"
I stare across the chasm The other side is beautiful With grass so green And flowers so radiant I long to be in such a place Down the chasm a river flows White water lashes it sides Jagged rocks form isolated islands Dangerous, for it is death to fall in Would I risk it for the prize? A rope at my side Determination in my eye I throw the fragile thing Over the gap and it connects I am victorious, or so it seemed I make it to the other side Oh how wonderful it is! Still, I can only visit Because that grassy plane Is not welcome to strangers Scary at first With palms sweating And feet slipping I soon master the crossing And I grow confident This bridge that I have formed Not of steel, not of stone But of fragile, fragile grass I took it for what it was not And now it has begun to fray. A foot slips through I panic and fear again The wind blows The bridge sways And I am in danger once more Grow confident and you slip Grow cocky and you fall Such arrogance is heavier Than a pile of stones It will only slow you down... Fear in my eyes I crawl back to my side Heavy breaths, pounding heart And I see the bridge sway And inside I feel something fade For never can I return to that grassy plane... |

In the dark light of the final revelation
Damnation of the Damned
Alone in this forsaken land Where a knife in the dark Is like a stab to the heart of hearts But now what as the blood seeps out Slowly like the cruel whispers Of the unseen dark angels Purging the love and sanity Of the foolish mortals that are lonely Take it as the leaving While the devils do their weaving All of them deceiving They who are still believing in the Light at the end of the tunnel there Where the ghosts and dark angels despair Broken and left behind Watching as the world passes by They bleed and they saw it coming But then a gash in the planes The final fiber of restriction remains But they tear it apart The hunger forever living dying So the last left relying On they of the ever undying Dark angels leave at Chaos' speed And do the ultimate deed to crush The mental living of the mortal breed |

So it is true
All of the things that can't work All of the things that just hurt All of the decisions you call your own All of the decisions that you can't condone So it is true then The road that to you attracts Always contains these hidden cracks That trip you up and knock you down So with every step the wounds compound So it is true then, when Blind faith is not always the answer Negative feelings grow inside like cancer You trust those feelings, all conflicted Your own philosophy turned mad, convicted So it is true then, when you Put logic to what it can't possibly solve Raising the shields in your mind, you resolve To not make a single wrong move You charge forward with something to prove So it is true then, when you choose Your heart is heavy, almost burst You are afraid of something worse You pray that things will work out You quell those feelings of doubt So why is it true then, when you choose One of the two bad roads, The ending just a heavy load With what you decide then, you lose. |

hey QQ, that was rather darkish, where did it come from if you don't mind my asking. (what inspired it in other words)
"I want to rule the universe" an eager villain said with cunning ploys or crushing force in either way I'm sure to win I am the best at being bad "What a fool" another said with cool mystique and level head a job like that would bring me down what sort of evil leads to work? "childish megalomaniac thats all you'll ever be, stop wasting all my evil time with your stupid devilry" and so he left that villain there weeping with dismay a fool's pursuit he'd made it seem he'd rule it on another day this one's dedicated to Dragonsbane, and his post made on the subject of ruling the universe, I've seen through his clever ploy. |

The revolution will be memed!

And here I am, after some time, trying to come up with another poem once more.I try I to stay true to the "5 minute" concept thing. Though sometimes it is not possible, like many other things...
"Small talk" Do you want to talk? I ask, without further thought But what is talking? What does it mean Is it a basic skill, like for example walking? Or is it something more, something less? Is it a skill dark and dirty or pure and clean? Or is it something else? I can tell you what I think it is I don't know if that has any use to you or me Talking is words Words are spoken thoughts, though possible lies Our thoughts do not lie, they are what separate us all from the herd What are thoughts? They are words only we our selves can hear, they are creations of our own little mind So is it not a good thing? Yes it is We need thoughts and our thoughts need words But the true art does not lay in talk Not spoken, not silent The true skill that not so many posses Is listening Just letting the words flow through you like water Letting it all inside you and then back out Giving others the taste of your gift So that they may feel better

Stranger in a strange land.

"On the road we travel called life"
On this road we travel, This little road called life, There are many things that Stop us in our tracks. There is grief in our lives, causing sadness, regret. There is pain in our lives, For things we can't forget. But there is joy in our lives, Mem'ries of smiling faces... There is love in our lives, Single kiss of good graces... For the ones who are weak, For the ones so confused, For the ones who can't speak, For those with nothing to lose... He will be there for them He will stand by their side. He will comfort them all, In him they can confide.

Aregato gozaimasu Dragonu no bane kun!
You know of course, thta I am a HERO, and as such am opposed to your villainous ways. Alas, our alignments are too far removed to become a party... but thanks a unch for the rep DB, I appreciate it! here is a random poem, I don't even know the subject yet! dirt so deep it won't come clean a filth which holds the soul in grimy claws it grips the whole of persons too weak to wash it off of men who will forever be smelly, ewe! sorry, I'm a tad bit inebriated at the moment, so tomorrow, after the alcohol has worn off, I will post a better poem. |
