You know, Arhra HAS found a good way to disable my slimegirl form. Splatter it. After all, it takes some time to reform....

If he had said why my aim was bad, that would be one thing, but considering that he just recently declared that Skyshot's blindness spell failed when he had nothing to do with that, it looks a bit too much like he's in the habit of saying that nothing anybody else does ever hits.
The suddenly changing direction, however, is a totally valid method of avoiding a shot. Under normal conditions, Syttulg probably could hit a small mobile target five times out of nine, but a small mobile target that's changing directions with only one shot? Not a chance. Hawk gets away easy by zigzagging. And the hallucination is that everyone and everything (with the exception of prizes) is a floating target at a carnival. Won't mess with his aim too much, just a little bit, and also it'll cause friendly fire.

My reasoning for your poor aim was that it seems Syttulg is hurling bolts at anything that moves and in rapid succesion, apparently without thinking (at least as far as I can make out), so anybodies aim in such a situation is bound to be off. Though perhaps I'm wrong. Perhaps I should have worded it differently to be clearer. But to quote your own explanation of your abilities:
Quote:
If you want I can just edit out the bit about your aim being off so it's simply my speed that saves me. Oh, and about the not noticing: I was concentrating on the fallen troll, slightly more blind than usual while in a slight delirium, and with all the various battles and other lightning blasts going on around him, he probably wouldn't notice yet another bolt, especially while accelerating forwards at high speed.

Sorry about my lack of posting over the last couple days. I've been meaning to get to it but things have been a little hectic. I'll try and figure something out tonight after work.

Of course he's throwing bolts at anything that moves. You don't need to edit though.

Hmmm, I do seem to have quite a love of doing terrible things to my own characters. I had considered using awesome genius to solve the troll problem, but a tremendous complication felt more my style.
And Newb, my dear soon to be bloody paste, you're in quite a bad position. The only reason Thod has a rating of just Insane is because of his limited intellect. A front on, close match of raw strength couldn't possibly get any more in his favour. Bruticus fight is slightly on hold while waiting for POS, although I might see if I can think of something nifty to do that gets the ball rolling again. Not much happening with The - he's quite content to sit there and try to crush two people to death.

Thod started off stronger and Syttulg started off smarter, and Thod has been eating these for who knows how long.
Looks to me like a battle of brains and brawn in a wrestling match of demi-giant proportions. Also, hope that I'm not wrong in my assumption that Arhra is feeding the powers she gained into the stuff around her.

Man, I love a good running gag.
Anyway, sorry for the delay, but I've been rather busy with work, funeraling, and sleep (not so much with that last one). Hopefully, I'll have the energy to be a bit more active over here. I still have to get back to my recently neglected musical endeavors, as well. So much crap, so little time...

Given my semi-liquid state, I figured that as he laughed, gaps would appear that I could try to slip out a little at a time. Though it WOULD take a while...
