THe more I think about it Newb, the more it seems that you're the reason why we are still here playing this game. If you're not the reason, then we can get Arhra next turn and end it then.

We really have no idea what Arhra is capable of, but we know that there's one of me.

I'm going to turn your statement around and say you can get Arhra this round and me the next.

Ah, but Newb, if there are any threats to the town left, they would be cultists, correct? And why would you attempt to turn in your fellow cultists eh? And since cultists need numbers to win, the logical thing to do is vote off the known cultist.

Ecurt only gained the ability to induct people just before he died. There were only two nights he did something other than kill. One was an investigation, the other was his using his new power to grab me since I was invincible at night, and already cleared.

And Arhra claims that his power has something to do with people trying to kill him at night. Just as I could be killed by day, He could also be killed by day safely.

All I'm saying is, one known cultist does not a threat make, while one person with an unknown power does.

We really don't know what his power is. If he was telling the truth, then it's safe to lynch him, and if he was lying then it's for the best if we kill him anyway.


As I said, you can always come back and lynch me next round.

In fact, if it turns out that Arhra is not the threat, next round I'll be the first vote against myself, since that will still leave two people to vote for whoever the last one person is.

Sorry Newb, but I personally don't think thats the best course of action currently.

The possibility that Arhra is a townie with an unknown power makes him dangerous to non-townies, unless the town kills him during the night. We have no way to do so, which makes his threat nulled, and if he does have some power that affects him being lynched then we lose a couple more townies, at worst possible scenario.

You, on the other hand, become a threat if our numbers get low enough. If we lynch Arhra and lose a couple of townies in the effort your chances for the cult winning this game increase greatly.

As I see it currently, with you still in the living town population are at a far higher risk to the victory of the town.

And even if Arhra is still a danger, there will be 3 townies left (not including Arhra in that count) after you are gone. We can safely lynch Arhra, even if it does shave as many as two more people from our ranks and win, as we will still have 1 townie left.

We win. Thats all I want.

Bleh, I was hoping you people could do the math and see that there is 5 people left and that would take three votes.

I'm not setting a deadline and I'm not lynching yet. Give you time to think over your votes and for the accused to respond a bit more.

I think I will take the time to explain my own reasoning. If there is any remaining threat aside from Newb left, I think that the threat is another cultist. Since the entire town has to be cult to win, lynching Newb first is the logical thing to do. Otherwise, we'd be left with just four people and half of them would be cult.

From there, the cult would be in a powerful position to influence outcomes as they'd command half of the vote.

If I am right and there's another cultist, voting for someone other than Newb and getting a townie means the risk of a cult victory is very real. If I'm wrong and there's no other threat left, Newb's lynching means we win the game.

Voting Newb is just the sensible thing to do.
