Also, totally agree with Mesden, Aizen taking over as main villain always kinda annoyed me because he's just too generic or something. He hasn't had any good lines other than that "stand in heaven" one and he lacks style.

Well, Aizen is supposed to be a Dick... because while he is being a dick and getting you angry and annoyed at him (because he is such a dick), you tend to look at him and attack him and get pissed of at him... and you forget about little things like Gin and Tousen standing right next to him.

And that's when people get cut in half...

I still have this sneaking suspicion Aizen's fellow captains are biding their time. Tousen upfront isn't motivated specifically to help Aizen, and its fairly clear he is aiming for something else. Gin is either the type to be a dick just to be a dick (which is totally possible) or he has his own agenda. He's done things on his own that cant be justified as "helping Aizen"

I didn't say he was a dick, I said he was generic. Honestly it would be better if he was more of a dick cause then he'd reach that Officer Tenpenny/Spandam level of being so goddamn unlikeable it is incredibly awesome when they're finally cut down. As it is Gin(due to Rukia) and Mayuri(due to.. every goddamn thing he's ever done in this manga) both outclass him in dickishness, especially Mayuri. I mean yeah what he did to Hinamori was bad but Gin and Tousen did the same to their lieutenants, and they didn't become half as annoying as she did. Aizen's just kind of like a blank box with "insert villain here" written on it. Not as hateable as Mayuri or Nnoitora, not as crazy as Tousen, not as badass as Stark, Barragan or Gin not as good a foil for the hero as Grimmjow, Ulq or way back Byakuya was. All he has is that he's polite and unflappable. Eh maybe he'll be more interesting when/if he does get flapped.

Well, you see, you just noted that Gin Screwed with Kira's mind and that he didn't became annoying because of that... there is something wrong with that logic.

Huh? I was saying that Hinamori being more annoying made her unsympathetic, so Aizen hurting her didn't really make me hate him more. She was obviously designed to be pitiful and make people dislike Aizen but she irritates me so it didn't work that well.
Kira didn't become annoying from being betrayed, he got more badass as seen at the start of this arc. And Tousen's lieutenant with the 69 tattoo whose name I have forgotten, well he remains as ever largely irrelevant.

Basically the lieutenants being betrayed din't really make me hate any of the villains much. Though it might have if I cared about Hinamori.

Probably waiting for Ichigo to return. Or preparing to open up the gate so Ichigo and co can escape.
