I am right in assuming that no one has any objections with stabbing these guys up without any negotiations after setting traps off on them, right? I mean, it's not like we're killing them; they can just stay at an inn to heal their contusions and lacerations and burns and frostbite.

When you include your actions at the end of your post, it's best to include the actual roll that I'll be making for you. It'll save me some time having to go through the character sheets and rulebook.

No no no, this is Final Fantasy. Swords and sorcery only render people Unconscious. We'd have to actually gut them while they're down for them to die.

I don't know if you necessarily need to give the monsters more health. I mean that guy took Ark down to half his life and damaged Zeig and made the mages of the group use up most of or all of the spells they had for that day. Give them two Drakes and they will be limping away and trying to keep who got knocked out alive and trying to get back home without any more battles or else they might get slaughtered.

Yeah, and what would have happened if Ark had been overwhelmed. The fight was fairly fun, butif you do want more HP to drag the fight out, it would probably have to be offset with lesser damage to be dealt.

Which is why I don't see my plan as being particularly evil, just... cunning and probably dishonorable, but hey, thief.

I see myself as something of a true neutral alignment. I'm not gonna gut someone when they're down, but I will take every advantage for myself in any kind of threatening situation. Though I will say that if they had all seemed reasonable and non-violent I'd have probably forgone the whole ambush plan for 'steal it from them and walk away smelling like roses' plan.

On the other hand, given a thing you guys will be seeing soon, they'd probably not be too friendly to us for long, anyway. Most folks don't take kindly to using the corpses of their friends to disable traps.
