EDIT: Also, something I forgot to add into my last post: Impact has been no more a hero than anyone else, and his general creepiness certainly offsets it by a THOUSAND.
Boy, you just can't let that go, can you? What would the consequences of that deal-breaking have been? You would've been able to mind-control Pierce and Sam, and been able to go after Chizuru and Shizuka. And I would've been able to go after Lola if I wanted (probably wouldn't have, getting Chizuru is going take most of Pierce's time), but as you pointed out, Menarker is decent enough that he wouldn't have broken the deal you had with him. So, it seems to me like, if I had broken that deal, you would've been the one to benefit. I know that, and you know that. So tell me, what the hell would've been the point of my doing that? I can understand that my claims that I was, in fact, just screwing with you wouldn't be believed. But now that I've laid it all out for you, surely you see that I was telling the truth? We agreed that Pierce would not find out about Impact's evilness until after Mission 4. Now that the mission layout has changed, that agreement may need some revision, though I don't see that it should. Believe me, Pierce will not be finding out immediately after Mission 4, either. Whatever I come up with, it'll take a while and make some kinda sense. Now for the love of God will you shut up about it? Because every time you grind on about it, you're just daring me to screw it all to hell and go full-blown hyper-OOC and wreck Impact's shit with some bizzare impossible reason why Pierce would magically gain the knowledge that Impact is evil. Keep in mind that Enmakki is a telepath. Reading minds is easy for the bastard, and it will in fact know everything about Impact. The only reason it wouldn't tell Pierce about Impact's evil is that it wants Impact to grow into a Big Bad for Pierce to defeat and further his ascent toward world domination. But you know, I'm pretty sure if I was inclined to do so (i.e: you keep testing my patience), I could remove that particular limitation. As for the battle, y'know, THE BATTLE, Crownlegs is weak to Flying, Bug, Fire and Rock. Pierce could use Tyranitar and Blaziken for that, of course. But as long as Rain Dance is going on, Skarmory might be a better choice than Blaziken. As for the Battle Masters, the only one that doesn't have Poison resistance is Lucian, and none of them have Fire resistance. Our best bet would be to use Fire attacks on them, but again, Rain Dance. We could have Matthias and Harliette put two of the Battle Masters to sleep (of course, it's not 100% certain it would work) and have Shannon and Moon keep switching between Sunny Day and Rain Dance so that we can have some protection from Wildfire's attacks at the end of every turn. EDIT: And before you bring it up, yes, I'm the one who started this thing with my question about Aura Reading, but COME ON MAN. Isn't it clear by now that when I say stupid little things like that it's a joke? Admittedly, if it turned out that AB allowed Aura Reading to work on PCs, it certainly would've benefitted me. But it's certainly not detrimental that it doesn't, and it really was meant as a joke. In fact, let me make it perfectly clear: whenever I say stupid little things like that it is a joke unless stated otherwise.

Battle Plan:
Question 1: Anyone switching out for their enforcers? Such as Charlotte switching with Shannon to buy some turns and use that AOE flinch ability. Or giving rage boosters to Aster so he can sync into his Lucario form and get 3 turns of invincibility like Cecilia has. Question 2: Anyone using any signature techniques or unique special abilities? This would be an awesome time to use Pierce's 6 foe flinching ability while giving rage rockets to Moon and Shannon so they can use their flinching ability next turn. Question 3: Is anyone not concerned that Kurika is still on fire? (or might set someone on fire or get permanently scarred or something?) Personally, my gameplan would be to constantly flinch the pokemons, focus our fire power on the Pokeweapon and the tank and endure until Wildfire is dead. Reason 1: Wildfire will die of her own suicidal violation. Nothing else will. Reason 2: We can't target her anyhow until all foes are dead. Except for Wilhelmina, but I doubt she would be able to pump enough damage. Reason 3: The Pokeweapon and the tank won't be replaced if it is defeated. Defeating the pokemons will get them replaced the same turn, thus the number of attacks won't change and defeating the trainers will cause the remaining pokemons to go rogue, compounding the problem. Reason 4: Even if we focused all our power on the pokemons for each single trainer, they can only send out and thus lose 2 pokemons at turn. Thus even if we assume that we knocked out both of their pokemons in one round each turn, that's still 3 turns needed to defeat all their pokemons (2 turns to drain them of enough pokemons to safely attack the trainer without adding to the number of rogue pokemons) Tactics: Any chance we could use Lexhur's attacks to knock out Lucian, Grant and Discord out of the field for 2 turns? I know that's 300 rage there, but that'll stop them from replacing their pokemons, they can take the hit unlike the other trainer and thus pokemons won't go rogue, and that will be less attacks from them (and the fact that neither Discord or Grant can be flinched. Lucian can be flinched, so maybe we can keep it down to just Grant and Discord if we want to save Lexhur's Rage.) The above tactic of switching between Pierce's AOE flinch and Moon/Shannon's AOE flinch/Dark damage. Renny switching in later on and activating Serene Blessing and people paying to protect themselves. A turn's worth of protection. EDIT: We could use Wilhelmina to OHKO the pokemons one by one if we could afford the rage rockets afterwards to ease the process. Last edited by Menarker; 07-01-2010 at 12:06 PM. |

Kurika is currently in the rearguard, so presumably she can't do anything, even set others on fire.
Besides, she's tough, she can take it. She'll be put out automatically next turn. As for Lexhur, well... not that I don't support getting the Battle Masters out of the way, but I'd prefer to have Blissey and Matthias put them to Sleep one at a time. I mean, do you really want to pass up the opportunity to use Lexhur's Laser to one-hit KO Arceus, deal awesome damage to Grant and Sandlash and beat the living shit out of Crownlegs by hitting it twice? Goddamn twice? Plus, Lexhur would still have 100 Rage left so he could use Devil's Drift once anyway. I say we have Charlotte use Super Fang on Crownbell this turn (we'll switch her out for Shannon next turn and use her Love Technique then). Then follow up with Lexhur's Laser. Then we pile attacks on Crownbell. Hopefully, the massive damage inflicted will take it down. I mean, I know it's a Pokeweapon and all but, y'know, MASSIVE damage. We probably can't afford the Rage Rockets to have Wilhelmina snipe everything. Also, I came up with the coolest name for Xth-level Tyranitar: Brobdingnagitar. Seriously though, how does Garganitar sound? I'm thinking no as well. I was just hit by the absolutely WORST idea ever. It'll probably be shot down. Hell, it's a two-parter, and even if by some miracle the first part doesn't get shot down, the second part definitely will. AB, can we get Reshiram and Zekrom? (The Black and White Legendaries). Specifically, can I get Reshiram and Zekrom? I realize that there are already plenty of existing Legendaries to pick from, but Zekrom and Reshiram are two I can make into whatever I want. Of course, only as long, and I must emphasize this, as no one else wants them. If someone doesn't want them now but decides they want them later on, I will give up all claim for them. I can come up with Abilities and stats for them, no problem. If I do get them, Zekrom would go to Elizabeth and Reshiram to my side-RP character. Now for the second part of my request: see, for character purposes, I thought about having Elizabeth trade Zekrom to Pierce. I realize that character purposes in no way offset the fact that I would be giving Pierce a third Legendary. A third. And this means that, well, yeah. I don't think you, or any of the other PCs for that matter, will go for it, but goddamnit I just couldn't let this go without asking. Anyway, I'm almost done with my Demonmon (tentative name: Tsujimi; feel free to suggest your own, the Indifference ability it has should suggest what it's personality is like). The only thing left is appearance. What the hell do Feral Demons look like, anyway?

Garganitar is ok. I had a weird idea of Zillatar or something like that (Godzilla).
Or better yet, this monster in the greek myth, Typhon! Quote:
So Typhostar or something like that. I'm totally up for your plan on dealing with Crownbell, but I think Pierce should be using his AOE flinch to hit the pokemons that aren't going to be hit by the laser, to help keep our good hitters in decent shape and such. Heavy shitload of damage on Crownbell, but keeping a damn good deal of attackers off us with the cost of one attacker (you). Anyhow, while I don't have any ideas what my plans for my side characters is going to be like, I personally don't have any interest in either of those two Black and White Legendaries. But as for you getting a third legendary... I personally would only vouch for it if I got something really neat too and if everyone else accepted you getting it. EDIT: Only thing about the name I suggested above is that there is one pokemon that has a slightly similar name theme, Typhlosion. However, it focused less on the myth of Typhon and more on what its name became after and the slightly volcanic nature of the greek myth (Since Volcanos are found in mountains). Its name is also similar to the word typhus, a Greek word meaning 'hazy' (which would describe the effect that the intense heat Typhlosion generates has on the air surrounding it), and may also be related to tephra, volcanic material. Read my edit in my post above. I'm open to name suggestions for Anti-cheater.
Well, feel free to come up with something neat for yourself. As for my plan, yeah, I thought Pierce using his Love Technique was a given. Can Pierce use the action that would be his Trainer Attack to use the Love Tech and still attack with his two pokemon? Also, Garganitar? Really? And no to Typhositar, unless you can come up with some variation that actually sounds good. Typhonitar? Typhaenitar? Maybe try another language? Not that I don't like Typhon. Any beastie that can make a huge bag of dicks like Zeus shit in his pants is A-okay in my book. If we can't make it a name, perhaps I can come up with another use for it. I make a new ability for Garganitar, named after Typhon, that'll probably be the same as the one it has now except slightly stronger (can't make a new ability without making it different, after all, and up is the only logical way we can go).

Typhoranitar?
By the way, did you ever find a good name for Elizabeth, or you sticking with the one you thought was close, Elizabeth Vanir? I got quite a bit to deal with for intermission. Training with Impact, chatting up characters especially Lola during the mating season, perhaps that wine thing with Pierce and Chizuru and thinking of side character and dealing with upgrades and such. Renny has little to do with Matthias or Charlotte though, which admitably helps. Just out of curiousity, I have been thinking of what sort of abilities or tricks you guys think should be present in one of our SignTechs/LoveTech/SyncTech/Overdrives. You know for the sake of variety, so we don't just have a bunch of attacks or defenses. I know we got quite a few attack ones (Several including Pierce's Co-Op), protection (Serene Blessing), buffers (Dark Ambition), extra attackers through enforcers (CCC), and even an item use one (Prosperous Gifts). Some thoughts such as malpulating number of turns itself was included (For Dialga). Any other thoughts of useful tricks like a debuff version of Spikes (every time a trainer sends out a new pokemon or something moves into that slot, it gets that debuff), formation alteration in midcombat to maximize AOE attacks? I'm saving one or two for myself, but a few neat ideas to add to the ones I just added might be neat in case anyone wants to build a move based on that. Hell, that would be a neat combination... Litter the field with moves like Stealth Rock, Toxic Spike, Debuff spikes, and use AOE enemy formation rearrangement. Rearrange foes as you like and the foes trigger their respective spike/trap. Foes that replace them, either through switching or defeated foes get hurt/weaker. ^^ Last edited by Menarker; 07-01-2010 at 02:53 PM. |

What, nothing to say about Tsujimi?
Anyway, I know that Pierce's final Signature Technique will involve him getting six attacks a turn for three turns. Also, a small chance of confusion for a reason I'm not going to reveal yet. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. Overpowered, right? But by the time it becomes available we'll be at level 12. That's endgame. Elizabeth has a Co-Op Tech that involves flinching and damaging three enemies, as well as dropping their Attack and Special Attack by two stages. If I have my way, she'll have another one that's even sluttier than Bundles of Joy and inflicts infatuation and better damage. And herr third, I haven't decided yet but who knows? It may even be something that doesn't involve whoring her out. As for Sophie, I have no idea. Maybe something sciency? And I'm keeping Sam's techs a secret.

I don't have much to say about a creature whom I have no idea on the theme aside from indifference and demon appearance. So I got no ideas on name.
That "6 attacks for 3 turn" technique makes my final technique Valiant Rush look absolutely tame by comparision and mine had a huge drawback of only being useble once every 3 turns and only works well when everyone else is pretty much KOed. I'm pretty sure something like your above technique wouldn't get accepted as it is. Otherwise, I would like to add a thing here or there, like Renny being able to ignore his status conditions when using it and even being able to use it once when KOed at the cost of all his rage. (Heroic action despite any and all injuries and weakness). I call dibs/credit/copyright on that heroic action when KOed thing! I mean, in order for Renny to equal that many attacks, Renny would have to get 360 rage... Thus. A: Have 100 rage B: All his pokemons knocked out for 60 rage deduction. C: 10 allies in the red/knocked out for 200 rage deduction. That means all 4 of the other PCs, all their enforcers, Renny's enforcer and one of the other characters like the medic, sniper, engineer or Shock Trooper have to be in that sorry state. It's not likely at all. Plus, Renny wouldn't get STAB or anything like that due to his attacks being Almighty typed. And what I meant as for techniques were ideas on the various mechanics we could take advantage of. Buffs, Debuffs, turns, hitpoint percentage (Super Fang, Curse by Ghost pokemons), Formation, Spikes-like moves for when a foe enters or leaves, trapping, mimicery, improved use of items, element type, defense, attacks, rage generation/cost, morale, status effect, multipliers like weather and helping hand... that sort of thing. Well, I'll try to give Sophie some debuff or status or Spike-like techs, and see if I can't give Sam a status-inflicting Co-Op.
Indifference and Demon appearance is really all there is to Tsujimi. So go nuts. As for Elizabeth's final tech, I think it'll be a Morale booster. And it'll definitely be sexy. As for my idea for Pierce's tech, fine. We'll discuss it later. Level 12 is a long ways away. By the way, the way I imagined it Pierce would've been forced to stick to one element for the duration. And is it really that far-fetched? I mean, right now Wilhelmina's Maid to Mistress lasts three turns, gives her +5 to all stats and two attacks per turn. When she goes Overblade, she would presumably get four attacks per turn when she uses Maid to Mistress. Is four attacks a turn with +5 stats and all the elements available to Wilhelmina really that different from six attacks per turn with a forced element? Wow, I went on a typing spree and somehow finalized Tsujimi, Zekrom, Reshiram (which, by the way, I technically don't really want, but it doesn't make sense to introduce Zekrom without Reshiram so maybe you could give it to someone else, like a NPC, AB?), Garganitar (kinda sounds like you're choking on something, no?) and Raikajin (Aria's Xth-level form, what do you think of the name?). Next up, Sophie! EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to answer your question before. Elizabeth's last name is Elizabeth Irons. EDIT EDIT: And Sophie's done. I'm quite pleased with her, actually. The only thing left, as always, is goddamn names. They be the Bane of Dracorion, the slithery bastards. Anyway, what do you call a suit that acts as every piece of Slayer armor combined and a belt with pouches that hold Slayer weapons like pokeballs?

Pokemon from Black and White will not be allowed for the duration of this RP. In the sequel, the game, and more importantly, the official guide should be out for easy reference, so if they indeed are out by that time, then Pokemon from Black and White will be available for the sequel. It'll keep things fresh, y'know?
Feral Demons are as varied as Pokemon themselves. From the voracious and territorial Flailhounds to the slimy and accurate Mirespawn to the all-powerful and destructive Luguros to the hideous and yet alluring Weeping Madonnas, Feral Demons fight using their own unique skills and will need to be defeated using a whole new set of rules which will make them a unique challenge. But since time spent in the netherworld will be mercifully short, there won't be much need to remember them. Yes, you can use your stupid Love Tech at the cost of your Trainer attack. Not like your Trainer attack will do much against the opponents you're facing now. |
