I ran into that while looking for a picture of one of those roadsigns. Not only did that guy get disbarred, but he got sent to prison and was made to register as a sex offender. Near as I can tell, he was never actually caught USING it.

No you see the media uses sex as a taboo, as a fetish, it glimpses at it but then closets it away- to excite and notsell.
If you stop treating it as some super secret cult and treat it as an expression of love then you would actually take away a lot of its power of a "sex appeal". It's a natural thing, nothing to be ashamed of or hidden away. Society has pretty much the same attitude to sex as the Victorian ages- it may not appear so on the surface but it does- sex is still taboo which is why hintingat it is so effective as a marketing tool
