Pitch Black was pretty awesome. Chronicles of Riddick was sorta lame. It had its moments, but overall felt shallow and lacking.

Yeah I have to agree with this. Chronicles completely changed the very nature of the previous films setting, taking a sort of hard sci-fi and turning it into pure fantasy on par with 40k.

Archer and Armstrong vs. the World

Truly the worst thing about Riddick, besides the total shoehorning in of a bunch of Star Wars-y stuff that wasn't in the first movie nor even hinted at in the first movie, was just the fact that the ending left you with one of the more badass cliffhangers I've seen, but the sequel is never going to be made.
Apparently Escape from Butcher Bay was a really good game though so something good came out of the movie.
