The NPF Island!

[Thaumaturge]

Thaumaturge wandered around the island (don't ask how he got there) until he reached the 'Mech bay. Then he gave a wide grin, and dashed inside. A moment later a large Daishi emerged, loaded out with Thaumaturge's favourite weaponry: Double ER large lasers, and double Clan Gauss rifles. Thaumaturge stomped down towards the beach to see how the others would react, blowing up boulders along the way and laughing evilly.

"MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

"Seems like Captain FINLAND!!! has a job! But first...I'l go swimming..."

Seeing the walking machine appear on the hill of sand Qeeko sighed and rolled her eyes.

"And just what do you think you're doing?" asked QQ as she stood up in the surf, hands on hips as she looked up at Thaumaturge in his oversized mecha.

[Thaumaturge]

Thaumaturge looked down on the tiny human form. "Err... nothing?... Ma'am?"

The 'Mech shuffled its feet. I'm not quite sure how it acheived this "feat" (get it?), but it did. Then it shuffled towards the water, where it wandered out for a kilometer or two, until the water nearly reached its weapons racks, and splashed for a bit.

"If you want to swim why don't you get out of the mecha?" called Qeeko, her hands at the sides of her mouth so Thaumaturge might hear her.

After a moment she dived back into the water, just hoping that when the machine moved again it wouldn't come to close to her and as a result toss her about with the added water current.

Thaumaturge looked out at the deep blue water below his 'Mech, and shouted back at Qeeko: "Because I'm too far out here!" Then he continued to splash, eventually creating a wave which washed everyone in the water up onto the beach, and drenching everyone already on the beach. "Er... oops!" he said, the 'Mech managing to cower.

Qeeko was thrown around, and then she was up on the sandy beach again. Suffice to say, she was not happy at getting sand all over her.

Qeeko marched back into the water, rinsed off and then, jumped into the air. She stopped on an invisble platform of nothing. QQ stood above the water. Then after a blue aura surrounded the bikini clad mage, she took off towards the mecha at an alarming speed, so close to the water she caused a trailing jet of sea water to spray in her wake as she charged at Thaumaturge.

"Come on in, the water's purfect!" she shouted as she approached, intending to tear Thaumaturge out and maybe drown him enough to learn him a thing or two.

Thaumaturge turned the 'Mech around in a panic, and then set it running at full speed away from Qeeko. He looked back. She was catching up.

"Oh, narg."

He hastily scanned the controls, looking for some way to make the 'Mech pick up speed, but there weren't even jump jets. He looked back again. She was almost on top of him.

"Oh, NARG!"

There was a resounding crash as Qeeko tore through the armoured hull, scooped Thaumaturge out like a snail from its shell, and bore him down to the freezing water.

"NAAARRG!!!"

SPLASH!

Qeeko still had her arms wrapped around Thaumaturge's waist as they plunged 20 feet down into the cold sea water as the mecha continured to plow through the surf in the same direction Thaumaturge had run away in, the 'Mech racing off alone now.

Realization hit Qeeko in a shockingly cold way as the tempurature of the water stung her skin. She also them realized that maybe Thaumaturge may not have taken a deep breath like her, and turning herself in the water swam upwards, dragging the dazed and partially drowned Thauamturge with her.

When they broke the surface, (both taking generous breaths of air again) Qeeko pointed a dripping finger at Thaumaturge as she bobbed in the water.

"That'll teach you!"

Thaumaturge coughed up water and looked miserably at Qeeko, then hung his head. "Yes, ma'am... I mustn't splash people with my 'Mech..."
