Nikose, giggling and smiling happily, unwrapped the gift box, and proceeded to look awestruck at the gorgeous hat within. A Dark Orchid color, with a long White Feather with a black tip, the hat was perfectly sized for once, for his head- it didn't slip too low or stay up to high.
Nikose was in HEAVEN. He sat happily with his hat, smiling ear to ear, and hugging it gently to himself, eyes closed. |

Burn.

I keeled over, and started to fall into a hibernating-like state, due to the coldness of the air.

The Obfuscated One
|
Completely forgetting that he was trying to talk to Santa, Keydog trotted over to see if Flare was doing okay. Noticing that her skin was cold, he cried out in surprise. "Oh, now this just won't do at all! I'm surprised you're still alive with how cold you are!"
Another ripple of color swept over Keydog, rendering him visible and leaving him a sort of a teal color. He slammed his paws against the ground and summoned a box, from which he pulled a blanket, and dragged it to cover the hibernating Flare. He then began searching for an outlet so as to plug in the blanket and make the small heaters in its fabric start warming up. Not finding one, he took the plug in his mouth and rippled again, this time becoming a sort of a neon yellow with little light-blue streaks through his fur. Curling up next to the blanket, he proceeded to power the heaters within it.

Bitches love the crown

"Oh god that is nasty." IC said as he tried to chew a light-post. Then again, he had kicked the light-post, broke it into a couple hundred pieces, and decided to eat one. Then again, IC was thinking it was a sugarplum monster, and had went to kick its ass and eat it, since well sugarplums sounded tasty. Now he was pissed, Santa just tried to feed him poison. Santa was going to rue the day he tried this. Rue it I say!
So IC hurled his Wind Edge at Santa, making it cut through any sugarplums that didn't exist but IC still thought it did. Of course, he spit out the remains of that one sugarplum he ate, and we he saw the remains of the lightpost, it wasn't hard to figure out it was a mind trick. |

Pyros pulled himself back up, only to be set upon by Sugarplums. He looked them up and down, and watched as they began to eat his flesh. Then he got back to business. "Eh, that's nothing new."
Reverting to Asheth, she pulled out a dark tome of infinity (there's a VG reference in there) and made ready to do battle with Santa's tricks. "Quickly comrades! Vee must use the elder spirit ChattyUrges to defeat his Zell'o'Tathian MADNESS!" Selecting the appropriate runes (including a purple one), Asheth cast a level nine 'Nethlek Redgormor' with 'ChattyUrges', better known as...Dispel Magick!

Disappointed by the door being frozen over, Narc began charging up a force field on Starserpent. He was cheered up when Santa tried to use a hallucination attack on everyone. Narc grinned evilly as he said, "Apparently you forgot why I was on your naughty list the past two years. Even though I've quit the drugs, I still have a strong immunity to hallucinations. You will suffer, especially for allowing Christmas to commercialize!" And just as Santa was about to likely respond with a taunt or a hearty "HO HO HO" or something, Narc sent his now massive force field flying at Santa.

War Incarnate
|
The imaginary Sugerplums descended upon Hawk with full force, the obsurdity of the attack freaking him out a little. But only a little. He knew they were only illusions after all, his training at TAE had included a certain degree of psychic resistance.
Of course, they still seemed real enough to him, which is why he proceeded to draw his Warbringer, clutched the trigger down tight and began spraying everything in sight with a constant stream of bullets. Some of them may or may not have hit Santa.

Argus Agony
|
The Wind Edge catching his attention out of the corner of his eye, Santa plunged his left hand into the sack slung over his shoulder, pulling out a very large horseshoe magnet with a tag addressed to someone named Timmy Jacobsen and pointed it at the blade hurtling toward him, catching the Wind Edge in the magnetic pull and redirecting its path toward Narc's incoming forcefield attack.
As the pair of attacks collided behind him, Santa reached into the sack once more, pulling out a large pile of coal, which he began tossing about, mostly at IC and Narc. As the coal sailed through the snowstorm, it burst into flame, raining fire down upon any NPFers that happened to be in its path. And then there were bullets. Hawk's errant fire failed to do too terribly much damage to Claus, as the combination of his mighty physical power and protection from Christmas magic had more or less made the power of mundane gunfire weak by comparison. A shot by an almost supernaturally-skilled gunslinger like Krylo may have been more dangerous, but not these. They really only served to make him more mad. On the bright side, Rei had taken to the sky a moment before and reversed to power of her internal gravity coil several meters above Santa's head, causing her to drop straight down upon him feet with the force of, well, quite a lot of tons, really. Into the ground the pair crashed, Santa held down under her and his own weight by the power of the supercharged gravity field as Rei, eyes glowing bright red, charged up a massive electromagnetic energy attack in her hands and then firing it down at point blank range. The whole parking lot rumbled, snow, ice, tar, and concrete debris flying into the air and falling back toward the ground as Rei hung in zero gravity. It was quiet for a moment. Only a moment, though. "Chestnuts.... roasting on an OPEN FIRE!!" Flames erupted from the crater, knocking Rei off balance long enough for Santa, now more bruised, bloodied, and his beard quite singed, to spring up, grabbing the android by the leg and slinging her above his head before sending her screaming at Hawk. "Now, where was I?" Santa growled, cracking his neck as he peered through the blizzard, "Ah yes, Asheth! Here we go! How about a little... Jingle Bell Rock?" A twinkle of silver magic flashed over him as he buried his fist into the ground beneath him, making the ground quake and crack as the very earth reformed to his will, until massive spikes of rock erupted forth from the ground under Asheth, threatening to impale her from below. Also, Pyros' dispel trick worked! At that moment, it started snowing a little less. Hooray!

Keydog looked at the mayhem and whimpered. Then he spat out the plug, rippled again, ending up as what white would be if it had translucent blue over it, and began building an igloo to protect himself and the hibernating Flare from all the crazy nonsense going on elsewhere. This accomplished, he turned a reddish orange and set the blanket on fire, so as to seal the cracks in the igloo.

"You shouldn't even exist. Kinda like that long haired guy, y'know who I'm talking about, the one that used to go around teaching people how to live right, I think his name was Steve. You're just a lie parents tell their ten-year-old children to get them to behave for eleven month and then use as a scapegoat when the kid doesn't get a guitar for Christmas." Narc said as tears began falling from his eyes.
Narc lunged at Santa, ready to have Starserpent connect with Santa's face as he said, "Children will no longer face your tyrannic rule of having to behave when I'm through with you!"
