"Yes, we need to deal with this situation swiftly."

Renny looked swiftly at Lola and Togekiss. Neither of them had the energy to do much of anything for now. The best he could do was keep Togekiss out of harms way for now.

"Togekiss, return! Swampert, you'll need to hold on! Earthquake that Girafarig!"

Swampert focused his energy once more toward the ground, this time focusing its destructive forces locally around the unusual psychic pokemon. Renny looked toward the homocidal pokebrid with concern and frustration. If someone as powerful as her was just one of the members of the group that the phantasm hinted to earlier, then things were so much bigger than anyone could comprehend at the moment.

"Moera, why are you doing this? Is there a purpose toward the actions you and your backers are instigating?"

Team Elfen Lied Synopsis (Impact/Pierce/Matthias/Rachel/Chizuru)
Impact: Pulverot A is defeated.
Metagross (Pierce's): Great damage is dealt to Pulverot B.
Chizuru: Used Crippling Blow. Severe damage is dealt to Pulverot B. All statistics are reduced by two.
Matthias: West Sea Gastrodon is defeated. Matthias restored some health.
Metagross (Rachel's): Great damage is dealt to Swalot.
Bronzong (Rachel's): Critical damage is dealt to Swalot.
Pulverot: Missed Chizuru.
East Sea Gastrodon: Great damage is dealt to Metagross.
Swalot: Great damage is dealt to Matthias.
Chizuru's Cooking: All party members are healed.

Impact wasn't like a Kimono. When girls like Rio and Chizuru fought, they sort of danced as they fought. His swordsmanship wasn't elegant or anything like that, however. He rushed that Pulverot like a second helping of Chizuru's food and ripped into it with all the ferocity of a Primeape on cocaine. Pulverot stumbled back and fell after a solid finishing thrust kick, but didn't make any movements to get back up.
"Mr. Impact, you're so cool!"
Aw, shucks, t'was nuthin' a'tall. Metagross switched its target since Impact's Pulverot seemed to be quite dead, knocking the fresh Pulverot back with an efficient Meteor Mash. The Pulverot reached out for the nearest wall to steady itself. Mechanical sound emanated from Metagross's massive frame and it enjoyed a boost to its normalized attack.
Chizuru whirled her tonfas. "I think I'll play with this one a little. Crippling Blow!"
Chizuru dashed into melee range with the Pulverot, bending backward to get underneath a hastily swung claw, then opened a 55-gallon drum of whoopass on it. When Chizuru bounced away from her assault, she surveyed her work. Pulverot seemed to be having some trouble staying coordinated. Judging from the groans of pain it gave from somewhere in its body, Chizuru must have shut off some critical arteries and fractured joints in various places. "Whew, it worked. I don't know about their skeletal and circulatory systems too well." Crippling Blow was pretty complex.
Matthias, on the other side, drained the West Sea Gastrodon until it collapsed. He didn't get as much health returned as he would've liked, but since the Gastrodon was badly wounded, that was a given.
Rachel withdrew Quiksilver and deployed Bronzong. "Metagross, Zen Headbutt! Bronzong, Extrasensory!"
Swalot was damn near destroyed by the psychic assault of Rachel's Pokémon. "Almost done on this side. Let's just mop 'em up and we'll probably have fully explored this mansion for foes."
Really? It didn't seem like a lot of Ruin Pokémon were here after all.

The remaining Pulverot, got desperate and tried to one-hit Chizuru with Soul Crusher, but with its body completely messed up, the Pulverot might as well give in.
The East Sea Gastron launched an explosive Mud Bomb at Metagross, hurting it badly and getting mud its eyes. Swalot, not really having an advantage against any of three opponents, just crushed Matthias a bit with Wring Out again.

Then the healing from Chizuru's energizing meal came. "The love that keeps on giving, that's the power of Chizu's culinary masterpiece!"

Team Girls Bravo Synopsis (Renny/Charlotte/Shannon/Lola)
Hammond (Charlotte's Aerodactyl): Critical damage is dealt to Moera.
Pike (Charlotte's Manetric): Good damage is dealt to Latios.
Allied Force Update: Tsubasa joins the party!
Tsubasa: All four Pokémon Zombies are defeated.
Florescence (Shannon's Leafeon): Severe damage is dealt to Latios.
Cacturne (Shannon's): Girafaris is defeated.
Moera: Florescence (Shannon's Leafeon) and Cacturne (Shannon's) are defeated.
Latios: Great damage is dealt to Lola.
Latias: Charging SolarBeam.

Hammond shrieked like a monster from hell and struck Moera with Fire Blast. Moera was burned in several places, and looked like she wasn't going to hold up much longer.
Latios shuddered a bit from the Thunder, but remained airborne and deadly.
Girafaris feel to its knees and came out of the attack, bloodied up but holding steady.
Moera smiled. "There's no need to discuss Beloved Faynoc's holy mission to corpses. When he is finished, even an girl like me can finally find a peaceful world to live in, free from sexually abusive parents and uncaring neighbors. Beloved Faynoc rescued me from that hell, brought those who have wronged me to justice, and gave me a new life. And for this, I shall kill all of Beloved Faynoc's enemies."

"So, Faynoc's got his fat fingers in this pie as well? He really doesn't read warnings very well, does he?"

Moera turned sharply behind her as four long wires shot out of a dark corner and beheaded all four zombies just as they prepared to attack again. The wires returned to the shadows and a radiant beauty in a white kimono walked into the light. A Kimono? Just like Rio and Chizuru?
"You! You're that same whore that tried to assassinate Beloved Faynoc! You shall die for that!"
The ninja babe's red eyes gave Moera a stern gaze. "I'm sorry," she only apologized.
The new kimono-clad hotness circled around to the back of the small enemy formation and assumed a battle stance, addressing Renny and the others. "You are the Pokémon Advanced Tactics and Counterterrorism Agency, correct? I am Tsubasa Hirasaka, a demon and an elite member of the Kimonos. A pleasure to fight alongside such brave souls. Now, let us finish her. Moera here had prevented me from killing Faynoc before. Next time she won't be around to do so again."
Moera was now in a pretty bad position. But she wasn't going to surrender. "I'll kill you! I'll fucking kill you all! I'll slowly tear you all into pieces and conduct dark rituals on your souls to prolong the torture!"

"Now I feel a lot better about this battle," Lola said, no longer intimidated.
"Yeah, let's rock this bitch!" Shannon cheered, turning on her headphones. "Mmm! Nothing like tunes to make battling fun! Florescence, X-Scissor on Latios! Cacturne, Sucker Punch on Girafarig!"
Florescence put a terrible gash into Latios's otherwise beautiful frame with the X-Scissor while Cacturne knocked Girafarig down with a Sucker Punch. Shannon was right. Moera's last Pokémon was a Latias. "Ha ha ha, we'll kick its ass, too! And we can take Moera down now! We've already whupped ass all over her other Pokémon."
Shannon was filled with sadistic glee. Maybe if they saw past their hate for each other, Charlotte and Shannon would realize that they're not very much different from each other.

It was at this time that Renny realized one very important fact: we was the only guy in a party with now four beautiful women. Just another reason to be glad he worked for PATCA.

Latias (Dragon/Psychic Legendary) [Female]
Moves: Dragon Pulse / Psychic / Ice Beam / SolarBeam
Ability: Levitate

Moera, so overloaded with rage that it beat out her exhaustion, turned towards the trained and unleashed her Blizzard, hitting and knocking out both of Shannon's Pokémon. "Worry not, little bitch," Shannon said, smiling broadly and apparently on an adrenaline high. "I've got plenty of grass to kick your ass."
Latios knocked Lola down with a powerful Dragon Pulse. "Damn, I thought I was too beautiful to be hit by the enemy," Lola said, rubbing her head as she stood back up.
Latias was storing light energy. Swampert gave a warning to Renny, and Renny understood Swampert's concern. Latias was charging SolarBeam, and Swampert was the most perfect target for a big damage grass type move. Fortunately Sunny Day wasn't out.

[Menarker]

Renny listened to Moera's rant with a strong look of disdain. Even the hint of tragedy in her past did little to remedy his distaste. The presence of Tsubasa was incredibly reassuring and Renny's resolve grew, especially in proportions to the number of women in his group.

"I'm sure glad to see you! Your support is much appreciated. Charlotte! You team up with Tsubasa here and go all out against Moera! We can't let her get away!"

Renny watched the situation unfold as Swampert readied himself after its seismic assault when Latios shot out its potent dragon attack. He was distraught with worry but relief took over as she got back up.

"Lola, are you ok!? Hang in there, we're almost done! Team up with Shannon against that Latios! Try Flail!"

"Swamppppert!" The marsh pokemon glanced back at Renny, verbally nudging that it was slightly uncomfortable with the immediate situation.

"I hear you, Swampert! You did a wonderful job! Return!" Swampert heaved a sigh of relief as it returned through the capture beam. Renny pulled out another pokeball and heaved it in the air as Magnezone appeared. Then he tossed out another and Togekiss appeared, although still quite weary.

"We're almost done! Togekiss, Endeavor that Latias! Magnezone, Thunderbolt it after!"

Togekiss zoomed toward the smaller dragon with wings outspread heading on a collision course with Latias, fighting on as if its very soul was on the line. Magnezone charged up its powerful electric voltage to follow up.

Suggest Lola use Flail on Latios. STAB. Strong power due to being quite (heavily?) damaged.
Shannon to focus her attacks on Latios.

Has Tsubasa to focus on Moera, presumably with Charlotte assisting.

Togekiss attacks Latias with Endeavor, setting its stamina to match Togekiss's greatly reduced health.
Magnezone attacks Latias after with Thunderbolt. STAB, very high Special Attack.

"Huh. Wow."

Chizuru continued to impress Pierce by crippling a Pulverot with precision tonfa strikes. These half-demon chicks were something else. He suddenly realized he was extremely jealous of Chizuru. "So, uh... is Shizuka the only one that can make someone half-demon?" He asked.

But he couldn't wait for Chizuru's answer. There was one damaged Pulverot left and it was going down. "One last Meteor Mash!" He called.

[Bard The 5th LW]

"You don't have to even ask," Charlotte said to Renny with a laugh, "I owe it to Hammond to let him finish her." She was really going to enjoy ending this fowl mouthed girl. There were two things in this world that Charlotte particularly couldn't stand; children who cursed a lot, and cats.

"Hammond, finish it with a dragon claw," she ordered Hammon spread his wings out and thrust forward off the ground with his talons raised ready to tear the Loli apart.

"Pike dispense another Thunder at the Latios, Hammond can offer support once the girl is done." With the assurance of help soon, Pike hastily let out another blast of thunder at the Latios. It didn't seem to be going down anytime soon though, and he was getting a little worried.

[Geminex]

Impact perked up at Pierce's question. "An... interesting thought indeed. What compelled her to make you half-demons anyway?"
Ruin pokemon were still unknown factors to him, but he could see that the Pulverot in question had taken enough of a beating that it'd be going down without any extra assistance from him. He was no longer needed.

The battle behind him was still raging, though. And he could see a wild Swellow on the enemy side. And he had a siege boomerang on his back. He grinned, sighted on the flying monster, and threw. It was an awkward throw, he had to make sure not to hit Matt by "accident", but he'd do some damage, at least.

[Astral Harmony]

Team One Synopsis (Impact/Pierce/Matthias/Rachel/Chizuru)
Chizuru: Pulverot has taken critical damage.
Metagross (Pierce's): Pulverot is defeated.
Impact: Swalot is defeated.
Victory!: I'm calling it. Pack up, heal up, and proceed.

Chizuru spared a brief glance at Pierce. "You don't need a demon to make you a half demon," she said calmly. "You've just gotta ingest a Magatama. Kinda like a scorpion, I'd say, but bigger. Anyways, that thing will burrow into your body from your mouth, which I'll go ahead and warn you that it's extremely painful. I was in a coma for two days when I couldn't take it anyone, but I think how long someone passes out from the pain depends. Rio told me she was only out for a few hours. Magatama differ from Magatama to Magatama, gifting the former human with a variety of powers depending on what Magatama they ingest. Elemental fire, ice, lightning, water, physical strength, a tough body...all kinds of powers are at your disposal if you can take the pain. I hear it's easier each time you ingest one, but I never tried going beyond the one I had to take. Besides, you have to kind of reject the one you've got before you ingest another. I'm not sure how you do it, and I don't think any of us half demon Kimonos ever did it. Maybe Mika. She knows a lot of elemental powers so I'll bet she messed around with Magatamas a lot more than anyone else."
At any rate, Chizuru beat Metagross to the Pulverot in order to set it up. With a powerful blow to the large sense sphere in the center of its body, the Pulverot was knocked back and easy prey for the Metagross, which was utterly crushed by Meteor Mash. Chizuru wiped her brow of sweat.

Impact wasn't really needed to assist the rearguard, and Rachel instinctively returned her Metagross to avoid friendly fire when the Siege Boomerang came flying, which sent the Swalot flying.
Matthias and Rachel polished off the Gastrodon, finishing the battle. "It's not really cool to be a human soul in the netherworld. It's like all you can do is be recruited by this or that demon lord. I kinda liked Shizuka, so I chose her. I didn't like the Magatama ingestion, but I don't regret my decision one bit. At least I'm not stuck in some demon lord's harem, being ravished by tentacles and whatnot."

Well, that's an interesting vision.

Lola: Latios has taken critical damage.

Flail, when used by humans, turned out to be an absurd series of windmill-style punches. Seeing a grown nurse swing her arms in that fashion with her head turned away and her eyes closed as though she couldn't look at the violence she was inflicting was quite amusing. Latios was struggling to stay airborne now. Just one more solid hit and...
"Let's do this! Leeroyyyyyyyyy Jenkins!" Shannon shouted as she deployed two Pokéballs. It was Roserade and, judging by the sudden hail, Abomasnow. Despite the whopper of whoopass it recieved from the bank mission, Abomasnow was in great shape. Shannon could finish off Latios with moves from either Pokémon, but decided to not antagonize Charlotte by denying her the kills she probably so rightly deserved. She held back when Renny ordered Togekiss to use Endeavor.
After that, and after Magnezone hit Latias with Thunderbolt, Shannon followed up.
"Roserade, Shadow Ball! Abomasnow, Focus your Blizzard! Hurt that Latias!"
Hammond knocked Moera out of the sky with a brutal Dragon Claw, mortally wounding the little Mew. "No...no, it won't end like this! I will...I will..." Moera's consciousness faded as the flames took her. "Ex...Explo-"
Moera's self-sacrificing Explosion was cut short when her head came off like a cork off a bottle of wine. Apparently death caused the Paradigm Shift to end. Tsubasa whipped her wires around and launched Moera's still burning and now beheaded body into the dark corner from where Tsubasa had been in hiding, then punting the head to rest near it. Nobody needed to see a violently-slaughtered little girl. Tsubasa sighed before returning her focus to the battle.
Latios was struggling to remain airborne, but Pike saw an end to that with Thunder, dropping Latios like a ton of bricks.

Shannon, after a quick look around for more enemies, walked up to the fallen legendary Pokémon."Anyone wanna catch them? I think they're still alive." she observed to the others.
"True," Lola observed. "Now that they're Rogue Pokémon, they can be captured like regular Pokémon."
"Someone should capture them, yes." Tsubasa said. "When the Ruin Pokémon were poised to take over the world sixteen-hundred years ago, it was the legendary Pokémon who turned the tide in the war."
"You're awfully well-informed," Shannon said, deciding she'd wait to see if Renny or Charlotte wanted them before she would volunteer to take them. "How do you know all this shit, anyways?"
Tsubasa shook her head. "I don't. My friend Mika has worked diligently on translating the murals in the ruins we currently reside in, but we are uncertain if they're accurate. I'm here to find proof."
"How is a creaky ol' mansion going to provide any proof?"
Tsubasa reached between her breasts and produced the luckiest Pokéball ever. "With this."
"You've got a Pokémon? Which is it?"
"The legendary Pokémon Cerbraptor," Tsubasa said before returning the ball to its soft, warm place. "We should go. There are more of Doctor Faynoc's Pokébrids in this mansion with the Ruin General Phantomere as we speak."

Tsubasa didn't wait any longer to allow for more conversation and turned towards the other door. So Tsubasa had Cerbraptor, eh? It was a legendary Dark/Fire type Pokémon only encountered in Honmyr. How'd she get it?
Shannon turned towards the others. "So, who gets Latios and Latias?"
"There's one thing you should be aware of."
Shannon turned back towards Tsubasa who stood near the door. "Remember that I said it was the legendary Pokémon who stopped the invasion of the Ruin Pokémon?"
"Yes, we remember." Lola nodded.
"The legendary Pokémon may feel obligated to stop the Ruin Generals again. If you take those legendary Pokémon with you, Mika believes they will force deploy when we fight Phantomere."
"Meaning what, exactly?"
"A force deployment is where a Pokémon disobeys its master's choices and chooses itself to fight instead of what the trainer would prefer. It will still follow battle orders, but the trainer will be forced to use that Pokémon."
"Would this also include pseudo-legendaries?" Shannon asked Lola.
"Would it?" Lola asked Tsubasa.
"Only one way to find out. Let's go."

Both Teams Synopsis
Enemy Force Update: Ruin General Phantomere, Gallade Battle Mage Wyatt, Gardevoir Battle Mage Whitney, Maniac Trainer Harliette, one Omnisroth, two Pulverots, six Narchams, six Zombies, six Mononoke. No Gendom, praise the lord.
SITREP: This battle is kind of like a corridor battle. Both teams can attack Phantomere, but Phantomere is the only one both teams can attack. Impact's team can only fight the Ruin Pokémon and Wyatt. Renny's team can only fight the undead, Whitney, and Harliette. All legendary (Cerbraptor, Giratina, Registeel, Latios, Latias) and pseudo-legendary (Tyranitar, both Metagross) Pokémon will force deploy and cannot be returned until defeated.
Tactical Update: Both teams are fully healed. All Slayer accessories are recharged. All Signature Techniques are ready to execute. You have initiative.

Both teams brought each other up to speed when the battles were over. Chizuru was really happy to have Tsubasa nearby, and assured both teams that with Tsubasa, they could crush the sun into powder if they needed to. "As usual, Chizu-chan loves to go overboard," Tsubasa said.

The doors on both sides of the mansion led to the same very big room. Impact lightly pushed the door open and peered through without their team being noticed. On Renny's side, Tsubasa did the same.

It looked like some kind of deal was going down. Floating some five yards above the floor was Phantomere. "Ruin General Phantomere," Tsubasa breathed.
But Phantomere clearly wasn't alone. There were the duo of a Gallade and a Gardevoir Pokébrid talking with it, and they had six Pokéballs each. There was also a girl dressed as a cheerleader with rollerskates just minding her own business and being ignored. Another maniac, they guessed, and she also had six Pokéballs. To Phantomere's right, on Impact's side, were a mighty Omnisroth, two Pulverots, and six Narchams. To Phantomere's left, on Renny's side, stood a gaggle of six Zombies and six Mononoke. "Full house," Rachel murmured, getting a look at all of the enemies.

The Pokébrids were speaking to Phantomere, but they couldn't hear from the doors. Impact and Renny instinctively worked with their scouters and switched on the directional mic. There was even closed captioning that printed on the screen.
"The Fahngrest Empire's ruler isn't the one I served, no ma'am, not at all." Phantomere was saying. "Actually, His Majesty was a pretty weak ruler, always letting morals get in the way of saving his people. The empire wouldn't have been able to resist the invasion forces if it wasn't for Master Frayson."
"Master Frayson?" Rachel asked.
"Myron Frayson," Tsubasa said quietly, her voice carrying across to the other team through Renny's scouter. "Mika proves her limitless genius once again. Her deciphering of the murals tells of a man named Myron Frayson, an aide to Emperor Heigram of the Fahngrest Empire. The empire was besieged by numerous enemies from rampaging Rogue Pokémon to rival nations to barbarians. Frayson not only saved the empire, but almost conquered the entire world, and he did it with the immoral creation of Ruin Pokémon. Of course, as I put it before, that's when the legendary Pokémon intervened, driving back the immense Ruin Pokémon invasion and sealing them away. The ruins where we Kimonos have set up shack is the major location where they were locked up. It's pretty bad there. Right underneath the noses of famed archaeologists rest millions of Ruin Pokémon just waiting to commense an epic beatdown. All one has to have is the command gene."
"And this all happened sixteen-hundred years ago? Wait, what's this about a command gene?"

It was getting a little annoying trying to hear what was going on between the Pokébrids and Phantomere while Tsubasa and Rachel had their own dialogue, yet surprisingly, both dialogues were just about exactly the same. "It's impossible for any one man to control tens of millions of Pokémon at once," Tsubasa responded. "And if we're talking Ruin Pokémon, so much the more difficult. The command gene changed all that. Supposedly, at certain points, the source of the Ruin Pokémon would produce something that turned the next Pokémon into something extraordinary. That's a Ruin General like Phantomere over there. Frayson created and injected himself with the command gene, and passed around subservient variants to his Ruin Generals. His Ruin Generals could run their armies, and Frayson could direct their actions, right down to the individual Narchams if he wanted to. One unfortunate thing that Mika believes in is that the prime command gene could be passed down from parent to offspring, meaning that someone could concieveably exist this very day that has that gene. If a person exists who does, they are a grave threat to the entire world, and are unknowingly in deep shit. If someone can investigate Frayson's descendants-"
"That's what you're investigating too, isn't it?" Lola asked.
Tsubasa nodded. "We can't let the genetic commander fall into the wrong hands."

Tsubasa knew a lot, which meant what Phantomere and the Pokébrids were discussing was more or less useless to the parties peeping on them. "Anyways, now I'm just here to defeat the Ruin General and find out where the hell Doctor Faynoc runs his cult. Faynoc knows about Ruin Pokémon, which is obvious considering two of his cultists are speaking to that Ruin General. I'm certain his intentions for Ruin Pokémon are not to the best interests of the world. He may even know about the prime command gene, which means all he needs to do is find that person and subjugate him or her to Faynoc's will. At the very least, we can defeat one of the Ruin Generals and two more of Faynoc's flunkies."
She looks at Renny. "Remember what I've said before. Legendary Pokémon should force deploy when facing a Ruin General, and that may include pseudo-legendaries like Metagross and Tyranitar. I have Cerbraptor, a legendary fire/dark type."
"I have Giratina, myself." Chizuru suddenly volunteered. "Don't worry about me holding my own in battles this large."
"The room is large enough for any character to fight with two Pokémon, or one Pokémon and themself for people like me that can fight on their own," Rachel said. "Phantomere, two Pokébrids and one maniac with six Pokémon apiece, one Omnisroth, two Pulverots, six Narchams, six Zombies, six Mononoke, uhhh...I think that's the full force."
Rachel then turned to Impact. "You and Renny are the leaders. Lead the charge and let's kick some ass."
"This is awesome," Shannon said. "This is going to be the coolest fight ever."

[Dracorion]

Pierce pondered Chizuru's information once the battle was over and they were moving on. It was definitely interesting. He was about to ask her about Magatamas when they met up with the other group and he resolved to ask her later if he got a chance. He simply listened in on the pokebrids' and Phantomere's conversation, as well as Rachel's and Tsubasa's. Tsubasa's warning that pseudo-legendaries might force-deploy certainly worried Pierce. Tyranitar was at a disadvantage against Ruin-types. "How did you find out about their existence in the first place?" He asked Tsubasa.

Suddenly, Tyranitar and Metagross emerged from their pokeballs. Before Pierce could do anything, Tyranitar roared and crashed through the doors, heading straight for the Narchams and nailing one with a Crunch. "GODDAMNIT!" Pierce yelled, running through the doors after Tyranitar, Metagross following behind. "Metagross, Meteor Mash that Narcham! Tyranitar, do as I tell you from now on, okay?" Metagross slammed the Narcham that Tyranitar attacked with Meteor Mash.

[Bard The 5th LW]

*Pre-battle*

"I think I'll hold on to the Latios, for now at least," Charlotte said, drawing an empty pokeball and walking towards the downed legendary. She had earned it, at least in her opinion, seeeing as how she made a large contribution in taking it down. Although that was really only an excuse she just wanted more power.

"You better hope your new friend does not hold a grudge Pike," she commented as the pokeball clicked, indicating a capture. Pike simpley remained silent, trying to block out the mental image of Moera, while Hammond simply stood by, looking around the room curiously. He was not used to this odd new architecture, or really architecture in general. It was an oddity that the technology in the pokeballs really applied to him at all.

With her new murder beast stored away, Charlotte then went with the others outside where they healed up and restocked.

*At the battle*

Just like Pierce's Tyranitar, Charlotte's newly acquired Latios freed itself from its pokeball and went in for an attack also. It instinctively went straight to Phantomere ready for a dragon pulse. Charlotte was meanwhile, a few paces back with Spitz at her side. She was considering using the Super Fang tactic, but Phantomere's status as a ghost made it likely that a normal attack wouldn't effect him.

"OK Spitz," she said, "the new guy will fight off the general, you just take out the ghosts before they get uppity." Spitz simply let out a disdainful growl at not being able to take part in the big fight, but followed orders anyways and launched a dark pulse at one of the Mononoke.

*Prior to battle*

"Latias, I'll take you for now, but I'll see to it that later on I find you a good home."

Renny gently stroked the pokemon assuringly before claiming it to his pokeball and leaving it to Lola to attend to its medical status. At the same time, he also got close to Lola, making sure she was healthy too.

"Lola, you did great. Are you feeling alright? Let me know if you ever get in trouble. I'll be sure to help you out."

Renny checked on all his pokemon, especially attending to Umbreon who had taken quite a heavy beating, cradling it. Renny then rotated to Shannon, realizing something that he had not the chance to go into details about the ruin type.

"Shannon, you're doing great. Glad to have you on our side. Listen though. We're likely to perhaps encounter ruin pokemon or even ruin pokebrid somewhere down the line. Dark, ghost, steel and especially dragon moves are effective. Grass types seem to be weak against them. Be careful. But we'll support you too. I will at least."

He then took the time to learn a bit more about Tsubasa and her unique abilities. Finally though, the group had to get going.

"Tsubasa, I have many questions that could be asked, but we don't have time. If it's at all possible, I would appreciate if could give us a way to contact you or your comrades in the future when this is done? As often as we have been meeting up as of late, I'm certain we could find some way to work together."

*Battle*

As Renny shoved the door open and burst in with the rest of the group as part of the ambush, true to Tsubasa's word, two of Renny's pokeball burst open. The first was the fully rejuvenated Latias which flew toward Phantomere with high speed. The other that shone out was the tiny form of Shaymin, finally forcing itself to make an appearance. Renny glanced toward Tsubasa briefly nodding with approval.

"Guess you were right! Shaymin, be ready! Seed Flare! Latias, Dragon Pulse after! You can do it!"

Shaymin's petite form cried loudly as the seeds on its back glowed tremedously as the air around the group suddenly felt clean and wholesome. The seed's glowing aura showed no sign of stopping as they beamed more intensely with each passing second until the energy couldn't be contained and it exploded in directed shockwave searing toward the Ruin General with all the viciousness of natural essence. Latias shortly followed suit, streaking through the air as its opened its maw and shot a stream of quickly pulsating draconic energy.

Shaymin's Seed Flare seems a bit more effective here! It converts pollution especially those in the air and purifies it while creating a powerful blast... and this place ranked and reeked of bugs, ghosts and zombies! It's bound to be potent!

Renny looked encouragingly toward Lola as he led the command of his particular group.

"Lola, Blizzard! Focus on the ghosts while we got the chance! Tsubasa, Shannon, I would take it as a favor if you two can help with the Ruin General for us."

Shaymin uses Seed Flare on Phanthomere. STAB, high power. 40% chance of dropping his special defence by two stages. Quite a heavy penalty. :3 Likely to be resisted due to grass being bad against Ruin (if he is), but the chance of making it lose a lot of special defence would help out.

Latias uses Dragon Pulse on Phanthomere. STAB, Pretty good power. Quad if Phantomere happens to be ruin type (which I suspect, but it's possible he just commands them and doesn't have Ruin type blood in him.)

Request Lola to use Blizzard on the ghosts.
Request Tsubasa to simply attack Phanthomere.
Request Shannon to attack the Phanthomere.
