No real drugs. Just a bit of a sensory overload what with the whole "seeing into forever" thing.

I'll do an UmbraLite post tomorrow.
I'm kinda going crazy right now. That battle in the RP shouldn't take long at all once Dracorion tells Menarker what he's going to do, and I'm not sure what I want you guys to encounter on the other side of the door. ... In hindsight, Gransrax isn't doing too well, is he? Maybe he should've challenged you to a children's card game instead. Hmmm... *sneaks away to find a Duel Disk System that would fit Gransrax's arm* |

Too bad I play children card games too. And I don't play fair.
Well, I don't cheat, but for all the good it'd do, I might as well. AB: One important detail I should mention. In regards to the damage formula site you got linked in your signature, you should put number 48 for the "Level" of all attackers. Otherwise, the damage dealt will be too much in all regards. Renny would do almost 5000% of damage if he crits if you put his level at 100. The stats I gave all characters for future missions assumes the attackers levels are 48 (Although in the story, their effective levels is around 100). At level 48, Renny will do 1692%-1992% if he crits (844%-996% if he doesn't) assuming Granx has 100 DEF on top of his high hitpoints. Crippling and devasting, but not a one hit kill and not overpowered when that is considering all those buffs and quad weaknesses. Granx is just plain unlucky to be pit against a group with several psychic users, which is his biggest weakpoint. Even more so when one of them is a crit-specialist, which turns what is normally 4x damage to 8x damage! Last edited by Menarker; 05-21-2011 at 11:51 PM. |

I play Children's Card Games in one way and one way only: with a complete disregard for the rules.
Grew up playing Yu-Gi-Oh on the streets, and I ain't bowing down to any "official" bullshit. |

Menarker, those rules aren't even going into play until after the sidequest is over, are they?
If you're going to do 5000% damage to Gransrax, then you're going to do 5000% damage. Gransrax isn't even the real challenge in that fight. 2500% indeed isn't going to last two turns, if that. 'Sides, I'm sure you guys are tired of being down in that lab. You've all been down there for like, what, eight or so months already? I'm surprised Renny and Lola aren't already married. I wasn't applying the rules yet. But I was clarifying that if you use the damage formula, given the data I have provided, you should use level 48 to avoid errors where the damage done is scaled up higher than it is supposed to.
Granx is going to go down in two turns for certain. One if Renny crits since Arceus's psychic attack on top of it will finish it. Hell, we should be able to finish the battle by turn 3 at the latest if Granx goes down first round. And yes, this mission has gone on for a very very long time. ^^; Last edited by Menarker; 05-22-2011 at 02:00 AM. |

It might last more than 3 turns. Ginnungagap is a tricky beast and you're going to need some smarts just to inflict damage to it.
Given Menarker's intelligence, he'll probably figure it out before the second turn or something, with or without help. |

What would be nice is if we could Fracture it and have Matthias hack it. Then all the clones it pops out for the next few turns would be on OUR side.
We would have to get them each new names and quirky personalities, and we could pass them around to all the guys. Several in fact :3 Jeanette Clone: *Bumps against Renny with her chest* "If you don't drink my milk, you won't grow big and strong!" Renny: "My size is genetic, not calcium deprived!" Although Maria being flat-chested doesn't help any... Kinda makes me realize that is probably a big reason/s for Renny being subconsciously drawn to big-chested beauties like Lola among many others in PATCA! :3 Hell, Jeanette could probably use a few extras to do help do her job so she has more time to spend with her daughter. ^^ Too bad that's way too convenient to be true! Yes, I'm sure Jeanette would jump straight into the ethical quagmire that would be breeding clones of herself just so they could do her work instead of her.

I'd imagine it's more humane than using the clones as sex slaves. :3
That said, unless Matthias can simply shut down the machine after he hacks it, it's still going to be breeding every turn. Might as well make it in our favor and give them something to live for after they help us or something. *Isn't really considering ethics at this point. I didn't make the machine. I'm just trying to make the best of what it is already doing.* |
