And since it appears we're moving on past the funeral with the next post, I've added a small bit to my post to have Pierce meet Natalya.

Well, I was going to have Pierce ask Irene and Chizuru for training shortly after the funeral, which was when his leg would finally mend.

So I guess you should add Irene giving Pierce a lesson to that list?

I'm not going to do an edit. Drac is right in that doing some kind of memo would be awkward so we're doing more of a "well, she said that her brother found out about what this guy Pierce did" rumor pass along that won't be mentioned in the RP itself. Just assume that you know about it.

Just a heads-up, I figured that Renny would probably want the sparring after he moves in (or at least secures a place to stay). He'll be too worried about his circumstances otherwise.

Right... but it'll have to be Renny dodging for the most part! A sword made of hardened flesh is probably not going to block reinforced titanium or whatever it's made of... I mean, I could try, hoping that adding psychic energy to it would make it withstand physical trauma similar to one lightsaber blocking another...

Renny is kinda different from everyone else who has/will take slayer levels because he's basically going for martial arts and being able to improve his body/senses as opposed to weapon usage. Of course, Renny's options are kinda limited. :3

It's kinda funny that Pierce would say that with Renny being in the group. Granted, she is much younger and should be allowed to live peacefully given her years of being restrained and experimented on...

But it seemed odd/funny. :3 For all I know Jeanette is going to point at Renny and Pierce is going to flinch at the counter example or say something to the effect of "he's not really a kid" in a sort of "not a true scotsman" argument.

And Dante, Matthias might be interested to know that Pierce took a couple of courses at Honmyr's Combat College (note to self: think of better name). It's basically Honmyr's version of the trainer schools from the games, only this one teaches more than just pokemon battles because Honmyr is more dangerous.

It's where Pierce picked up his rudimentary martial arts and swordfighting skills.

By the way, AB, I always figured Wintervale was more of a small city than some podunk village. At the very least, it was a town big enough to have a thriving crime syndicate and a Ricewood Masterworks branch.
