Oh wow AG is kind of a huge fucking bitch isn't she.
Anyway.
That Crosbytop is kind of freaking me out.
I mean think about it:

1) For all we know it obviously originates on Earth because everybody else refers to Crosby as some sort of freakish alien being (also it doesn't have horns and is not John Cusack)
2) It appears throughout Alternia's timeline (the troll arc/Midnight Crew intermission)
3) Alternia, as far as we know, takes place before Earth and is part of a separate session at that.
4) Why would the Crosbytop be sent back in time from Earth to Alternia?

Alternatively

3) Alternia actually takes place after Earth, thus explaining how the trolls are able to survey the Earth kids' progress (because it all already happened)
4) Somehow the Crosbytop is created during the kids' playthrough (modifying the Cosbytop somehow?) and it ends up in another planet in the future?

Or maybe

3) Alternia is in an alternative reality oh fuck no why make things even more confusing with shit like alternative realities when we already have interstellar time travel and dream worlds all up our necks dang and there's not much precedence for that besides

Most likely gets sent back by AA after meeting John or something.
