obligatory kickass thread
brian, i have but two words to say to you- FUCKING AWESOME.
i just got my copy on thursday (god bless barnes and noble gift cards). the book rules. ive got to say my favorite part was the last hundered pages. i dont think ive read a better written ending in my entire life. personally i cant wait to see atomik age. personally, i think Dr. Genuis should do some reality bending thingy and bring rachel back from the dead. SPLITING THE VERY FABRIC OF REALITY, W00T! :shifty: by the way, this has been sticking in my head- the perfect voice of nihel- JAMES EARL JONES! anyway, this just confirmed that you are an excellent author.

I'm continually getting the feeling that I should maybe read this thing you call 'Brian's Book'. Is it as wonderful as I dare imagine O~o -!

Yeah, I have a feeling like that too, Nique.
Except you might be able to get one in a bookstore over there. I, on the other hand, would order via the internet, and I don't do that. Maybe it's because I'm one of those old guys, reluctant to change my ways. Maybe it's because I want to handpick my book, to get the crispiest(sp?) copy. Whatever it is, they don't sell it here. Which totally sucks.

I hope it's not because you buy into the security problem/idetity theft myth. I ran an internet business, it's pretty much impossible to steal your personal information unless the whole "business" is set up to be a fraud from the get-go and even then it would be easy for the authorities to track you down. It's kind of like why robbing a bank is a bad idea. Everyone expects it to happen, so there's half a dozen things in your way, most of which you can't see and are automatic.
Anyway, you can easily get the book without the internet. Go to any book store and ask them to order the book for you by the ISBN, which is 0595325114. Go to a chain store for best/fastest results.

I really should start reading it again. I only got to about page 100 before college took possession of my free time. It's been awesome so far, though.

especially since that's impossible- its a print on demand book. i'd bet if brian took out a run of NA, then he'd be an instant best seller.
