Tony Jaa's elephants have been kidnapped by NINJAS!
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue Tony Jaa's elephants!?
I saw The Protector. It was like a beat-em-up in all the right ways. It even has circus-freak mini-bosses that all attack at once as a major boss later, and Xtreeeme regular enemies on skates and bikes. There's not a whole lot of dialogue in the movie, as Jaa's character doesn't speak English, but it's filled with huge action scenes wherein Jaa is using crazy martial arts skills to fight off anywhere between five and a hundred guys at once. I have to know: Am I the only one who was expecting some random guy to drop a hunk of meat, which Jaa would eat to recover health?

Just try not to go when all the martial arts nuts are there. "I could do that" morons come in third for most annoying movie-goers in existence, right behind children/infants, and cel phone talkers.
But yeah, it's basically two hours of crazy stunts, and Tony Jaa beating the ever-loving crap out of mooks. Almost all talking is done while Jaa is off screen. When he shows up, he basically flips out and kills people. They even followed an old martial arts staple by having Jaa learn a great martial secret from the elephants. The secret itself isn't too impressive, but the scene that followed was pure awesome. Edit: I forgot to mention the most awesome scene in the movie. Tony Jaa is walking through an airport, and bumps into Jackie Chan. They both whirl around like they're about to fight, but then Jackie Chan apologises, and they continue on their way.

Tony Jaa is quite possibly, the only person in existence worthy enough to wear a shirt that says "Caution: May contain awesome".

Saw this with some friends Saturday night. Incredible fight scenes and as little time wasted between them as mathematically possible.
