How ya doin'?
I don't get to talk to my online acquaintances much anymore. My PC won't get online, so I'm stuck using other people's computers whenever I can, which also means I can't Instant Message or join in the chats. So I'm a bit out of the loop right now.
So what I want to know is, how are you doing? What are you up to lately? Where are you in life right now? Plus, I figure this is as good a way as any to get to know those members I don't know well yet. (I mean, really, who doesn't like to talk about themselves?) :p I'll go ahead and start. I'm busy working all the time trying to pay off my college debt so I can start thinking about paying for stuff like a car or a place to live. (Currently I'm living with my parents again and I have to rely on other people for transportation, which is frustrating in the extreem.) And mixed in with all of that, I have to decide when or if I'm ever going back to school. So my future is uncertain, but for the next year or two, my situation will probably be pretty stable; just working to the point where I can afford decisions. In the meantime, I'm trying to focus my creative energies enough to get some progress done on any of my current projects. I've started two stories in the past year which haven't gotten past the first few chapters for each, and I still want to finish up the last 40 comics of JAQ. The biggest downside to working full time is that I never have the energy or free time for these things. Sprite comics alone take 6 or 7 hours each, and it's a pretty big deal now to commit that much time of one of my days off. I'd also really like to get back into filmmaking, but I have no idea how or when that could happen. But yeah, I'd say my attitude towards life is cautiously optimistic right now. Now it's youse guys' turn!

Sorry to be a buzzkill, but isn't this kind of the Introduction Thread material?

No worries I told him it was cool.
Besides it's not like anyone actually reads the introduction thread. Oh me? Um... I'm moving soon! Nope, not telling where.

Fair enough.
So, moving along. I'm twenty years old and still nailing down a bit of my Junior College before I start going to a 4 year. I've written three books, one of which I threw out, and I'm currently trying to get published. I've started contacting agents to represent me, and with luck I'll be able to get these things in print. I've also got a Tyranid obsession right now. I'll upload pictures soon. I also happen to break any damn technology I touch. And I also have an Autobot tattoo on my shoulder.

I'm 20 years old and about to graduate college with a Bachelors in Psychology. I'm then going to a Fine Arts College to get my MFA. I live with my roommate and boyfriend (We've been together for 6 years now), I play MTG FNM and DND on the weekend.
I write and draw in my spare time. Read webcomics. And pretend I have something useful and/or original for the world to see. |

I'm kind of weird right now, to be honest. After about half a year in Austria I'm returning to the United States next week, and I don't really know how I feel about it. There are things I'm looking forward to and things that I will miss, and I don't really feel like I can weigh the two against each other and figure out whether I'm excited or disappointed.
I've also been watching a lot of David Lynch movies lately - that can't be helpful.

I'm 18 years old and I'm about to graduate from CEGEP to go to university soon...I'm just waiting for my acceptance letters, which I know wont be coming before april at least...I just hope I get accepted at McGill. I'm studying in music right now, so it's just normal for me to be a bit stressed out, with the auditions coming up and all (I just finished a recording today for my pre-audition at McGill...it took me six hours...so I'm really tired).
I'm at my parents house for vacation in Mont-Tremblant, which is a huge ski mountain up north of Montreal. I live in that city almost permanently, and I'm going back there tomorrow. All is good in my life right now, and I can't wait to conquer the next big step that is university.

Going back to Uni after a year of hiatus, living out my life long dream of taking a gap year and doing jack shit. It was everything I had ever hoped for and so much more. Now to work my arse off for 20 or so years to accomplish another dream. Retire rich before 40.
