Shouldn't this be either: A) Put in the Colon Funny Whatsits thread for accidental hilarity, or B) BE BURNED WITH FIRE. BURNED. TO DEATH. |

Uhm, its a fake. No accidental hilarity there. I spot scenes from Demolition Man, The Hulk, and others in the mix.

I saw that ages ago, and it was funny. Now, it's even more funny.
I have to ponder a reason why the government would want to lock away a guy from a hundred years ago, and treat him as "Something else" What? Did he have like, a strain of some plague on him that our modern immune systems can't handle? Years of being frozen underwater gave him ice powers? His winsome good looks despite being a lowly street urchin were actually a supergift, and if left unchecked he'd become a teen heartthrob who makes millions? If someone were to watch that trailer and actually thought there'd be a Titanic 2, then that person would deserve a slapping.

Best part? I'm pretty sure that's an arrangement of something from Chrono Trigger they're playing when they unfreeze him, but I can't quite place it. Something near the end of the game, I think. My first thought was "To Far Away Times", but I could be mistaken....

Saw this quite a while ago when Absath of CAD fame linked to it. Still funny.
Talented Mister Ripley was in there too, I believe. I liked the scenes from the Titanic musical. Made me laugh pretty hard.

My favorite part? The comments at the bottom where people are striving to prove that it's either fake or real.

I'm pretty OCD when it comes to game music, and I think that it's from something else. Feel free to prove me wrong though, I can't completely make out the melody to 100% assure you it's wrong.

You're right. Turns out that the piece used in the trailer has a similar progression at around 1:38 or so to a small fragment of the music from the last night of the Guardia Fair at the end of CT. It's very brief and a total coincidence. Carry on.
