Lord of the What?

I just played the new LotR game for the X-box and despite the addition of new playable characters and a two player option (though the camera angles make it sickening to try and play with others) its pretty much the same as the Two Towers that came out during the last big hype. That is not my distress. It seems there is a lvl on Ganfalf's path where you must defend the walls and no matter how hard I try I cannot beat it. Have I lost my gaming abilities? Am I past my prime? Should I sacrifice anouther small woodland creature for the power to defeat this virtual battle I face? I am at the mercy of my fellow Nerds. How can this be done?

Use the quick attack button while facing the ladders to knock them off the wall. Took me 2 tries to figure that out, and I only discovered it by accident.

Well, bugger all. After playing Two Towers, I had high hopes for Return of the King. I could really use a good two-player slasher right about now...

To quote Dave Barry, "Why couldn't they just lose the ring in the sink?" O_o

Oh, God... I remember that level... Took me forever to figure out the ladder thing as well, then I kicked lots of ass. The next level, you know the where you have to defend the door? I got to where I had to destroy their war machines and then my PS2 froze up on me because of how many things were on the screen at once. Pissed me off to no end because I was doing so well on that level. I decided to not play the game ever again after that. Only time my PS2 has screwed up on me so far.
