FFVI-2 X-treme Beach Volleyball (lots of huge pictures warning)
What have I done?!
(I can't draw people playing volleyball. Why am I making a volleyball comic?) (like I said, I can't draw people playing volleyball. But I apparently can draw people doing the robot.) Aaand that's all for now. I just got bored the other night and started drawing. Hope you guys like it. And yes, I have the memory of a small rodent, so I wrote the same line on two pages and didn't realize it until now. EDIT: Next update of actual comic pages: http://www.nuklearforums.com/showth...d=1#post806454

You also posted in the books and comics forum instead of the arts and crafts forum which is basically my fault for renaming all the forums to confuse the fuck out of everyone don't worry I'll go ahead and move it for you.
EDIT: Intellectually I realize that Umaro is in fact wearing more clothes than usual yet this does not stop me from being totally skeeved out. Well played.

Write "Like I said..." in the last panel of the next to last page to fix the double line, if it bothers you that much. Otherwise awesome stuff. Seriously you should transfer, ink, and possibly color those and post them for more than NPF to enjoy. They are really very good (And funny.) I almost died at the "Kupo." "Well said, Mog" joke.

I'm a little concerned, until I come up with more, I have this notebook sitting out on my desk turned to a page with an old man and a sasquatch in speedos on it. I think my mom saw it. She didn't say anything but I can only imagine what's going on in her mind.

Maybe it's just cause I'm using an LCD monitor, but I find it a little difficult to read. Perhaps you should darken it or fiddle with the contrast or something? Or maybe I'm just blind.
Otherwise, that gave me a good laugh. Last edited by pochercoaster; 06-13-2008 at 04:16 PM. |

Although, for the record, I'm open to suggestions about what should happen. Not saying that I'll do any of the suggestions, but just to get ideas going. Quote:

Just so you know. I didn't know how to draw practically naked old men, so I had to find reference pictures to help me. I am scared for life. Also, I have been informed that it is Cyan Garamonde and Setzer Gabbiani. Whoops.... Uh... they got married? I'll fix it later.

Yeeeah, son.

For me, the more words the speech bubbles had, the harder it got to read. Also, the smudge marks made some of the other things hard to read as well as some words being written too lightly. Adjusting the contrast would help greatly. Although my eyesight is so bad I might as well be considered blind...
It's friggin' hilarious none the less, and I thought the awkward volleyball poses actually adds to the funny. I always figured Strago to be more pudgier for some reason...
