Christopher Eccleston does up the potential for being good. But man, GI Joe was one of my favorite cartoons when I was a wee one, I dunno how this iteration of the franchise will be.

Not reeeally. One of the actors said that at first he didnt want anything to do with it because he belived it glorified war. So, they gave him the script and he said he would do it because it was more "Fantasy" akin of Mission Impossible and X-men, and not a "war movie"

To be fair, the only somewhat decent _____ Movies (the first two Scary Movies) were the only ones with Wayan involvement, so it's not an immediate deathkiss.
