Your Holiday Haul

Yes, I know, family blah blah fellowship blah blah peace and togetherness blah de blah blah blah blah. But what about the most important part of the holiday season--all the gifts you got? In this thread we brag about all the items that were purchased for us in a futile attempt to appease the insatiable, vicious, all-consuming gods of capitalism.

For instance, I got several new CDs I received throughout the month of December (Yes, dammit, it counts!), along with a $50.00 Amazon.com gift card and the $50.00 iTunes gift card that came with my lovely shiny new purple 8gb iPod Nano. Now it's up to you to list what you got, in order to prove that your loved ones love you more than mine love me. (Answer: They probably don't. )

Muramasa the Demon Blade(already pluneged like 5 hours into it), a couple of books and a poker set from my parents. Disgaea 3 from my grandparents (funnily I don't have a PS3 til my 21st next week so it's just sitting there, taunting me with it's Disgaea goodness, totally unplayable), The Ultimate Megadrive Collection from my sister(the best surprise, already knew bout the other games). Also assorted food like candied nuts, nougat and fudge.

As I'll be 21 in a week, this is the last real Xmas haul, from here on out it's socks and jocks and CDs and grog.

A Kettleball (google it, it's what makes the Russian soldiers so much better than us), a new baseball cap, a book on ways to use duct tape, a camera, and a Chumby.

Whatever the hell a Chumby is.

Fifth and Krylo made me do it.

The older you get, the happier you get to receive socks.

Seriously.

For truth.

Got a bunch of clothes, Mario and Luigi: BIS, Spirit Tracks, and a few feet of bubble wrap. Also, a gift card for Burger King and Gamestop.

FTFY.

True, the two USUALLY coincide, but not always.

Besides, I was being nice. Seriously, socks are 8 dollars for like twelve of the damn things. Those are one of those things you should just go and buy for yourself when you need them, and then when you get them as a present you should just give the 'eye of incredulous disbelief' to whomever bought them for you before saying, "Really? An eight dollar bundle of cloth?" and then moving on while slowly shaking your head to make whomever bought them for you feel bad.
