RPG Maker

So, I'm looking to get back into fiddling around with RPG Maker, but I see there's a newer one called RPG Maker VX out. I'll probably use either this or RPG Maker XP. Can anyone give me an idea of how VX compares? I was looking at the tilesets, and they kinda looked crappy, but I'm sure I could import XP's if that were an issue (tell me if I'm wrong). I'm mostly interested in what, if any, features have been added or taken away.

XP is better if you want to make a more customized game.

Yeah I saw that. I'm more looking for personal views. I like the idea of global tilesets a lot, but everything else sounds like a step backward from XP.

Why not import global tilesets into XP. I'm sure it won't be that hard to find some...
