Default Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Second Time

I recently rewatched Stand Alone Complex (2nd gig and original flavor). Why? I dunno. At this point I am very far beyond questioning it.

Because, holy crap. That was amazing. Way better than I remember; and 2nd gig, which seemed the worse of the two the first time around, freaking blew my mind this time. I don't know what to say. I can only assume I was much dumber when I first saw it... which is disturbing, since it wasn't that long ago.

It's cool, intelligent, interesting... It's got politics, guns, hax0rz, boobs... and the Tachikomas. I love those robots. I really do.

I'm prepared to call this the best "serious" anime I've ever seen. Not that it's a very tough competition, but still. Wow. This gives me renewed faith in a lot of things, except sorta myself, because, what the hell was wrong with me the first time? Anyway, next stop is Solid State Society. Anyone know if it's good? Hint: I don't actually care about your opinion. I will watch it anyway.

Also the first two movies. Eventually. Are those good? (I still don't care, but discuss!)
