Looking into getting a tablet PC.

I'm hoping to get one again just so I can use it for art purposes and data storage, and maybe a bit of (MMO) gaming, but not as a serious gaming machine. I have my XP lappy begged from my brother, which I'm using as a server for my IRC bot and some data storage, but honestly I'd prefer to have a newer OS so I can get better networking security going and I've been wanting a tablet, as you may recall, for years now.

Basically I'm looking for something cheap, but effective, and preferably going to last me a few years. Ideally it will have USB 3.0 and wireless-n in that regard, but I'm not ultra-concerned about things like HDD space or RAM, since I don't actually use that much of the former and the latter can be upgraded cheaply.

I'm probably not going to buy right away (coming off my birthday high and will probably look at this tomorrow and say "GOOD GOD! I was going to spend money!"), but I'd like to explore my options at this point, since I'll be getting my degree in the next year and will hopefully have better luck finding jobs with a Bachelor's.

So yeah, I guess I'm actually serious about this at the moment. It's been all month and I'm still seriously considering getting myself a third machine. Also, I have a phone interview in the morning, so YAAAAAAAY! I'll feel less guilty about dropping money on a machine if I actually get the job, although that'll seriously impact my FFWiki time (I'm basically on all day, every day at this point).

So I guess I should say considering I'm still looking, I'm serious about getting help buying a tablet PC that'll last me for a while for a reasonable price.

Sooo... yeah, maybe some help now? ;
