Default You've Watched It! You Can't UNwatch It!...But If You Could...

So, I just read the plot summary to the Human Centipede sequel. Even though, based on the original movie, I'm sure the new movie will be a lot tamer in execution than the visuals my imagination cooked up while reading it, I still can't unread it, even though I desperately want to.

To block out those thoughts, I began to reminisce about all of the things I would take back. For instance, I'd like some TV series (Heroes and Scrubs, most prominently) a lot more if I hadn't watched the later seasons that irrevocably tainted my enjoyment of the earlier seasons, while some TV series have seasons that are just unnecessary in hindsight (like season 2 of Friday Night Lights or season 3 of Dexter) and I'd be much happier having that wasted time back.

Most of the time, when I discover such a thing I want to take back I become a crusader in making sure others don't suffer the same fate. I've successfully prevented friends from reading the fifth Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and even though they'll never know what I saved them from, I feel a little better knowing I've brought some good to the universe.

I wish I hadn't read the Coda to The Dark Tower.

I mean King even expressly tells you not to read it, but that just makes you want to read it. He should have just done us all a favor and not written the Coda in the first place.

I wish I hadn't watched Lost beyond the first episode. I only ended up watching for two seasons, but that's two seasons too much.

Can we do games aswell?

Think about all the poor souls who watched it for all six seasons just to get that ending. I wasn't one of them but I caught enough to just shake my head at it and remember that Evangelion (the first one, not the current remake) was probably easier to understand.

Speaking of which...

The first and only 15 minutes of Shin Chan I ever watched.

Blair Witch 2: Book of Secrets (Forced to watch by my dad and his wife years ago)

AVP: Requiem (My own damn fault)

Fusion Frenzy (I have a friend who thinks this game is the bomb and makes me play it with her every time even though I kick her butt at a game I hate. She even made her Fiancee play with us and her friend and even he agreed it was a sucktastic game.)

The Epic Roll

Cows & Cows & Cows

That Knight Rider remake a couple years ago. The movie was awesome...the show sucked. Seriously? KARR a Transformer? >_<

Could probably list a few more things here.

Why?! Just watching the trailer for the first one I was turned off, and I'm a (new) fan of the Hellraiser series. (Where people getting torn apart by chains is fair game.)

That being said, Salad Fingers.

Fucking Salad Fingers.

Sure, I just put it in this forum because it seems to be the most general intake thread.

Just thinking about the movie The Strangers makes me want to put a mask on and get homiciding. Permanent rage trigger in my brain.

I'd also unwatch any film by Gaspar Noé gladly. Is it so hard to be revulsive, offensive and shocking that it has to be celebrated? Really?
