This year in Tv Series.
Alternative title: I finally caught up with Burn Notice season six an-OH MY GOD IS THAT DR COX AS A SUPER CIA SPY MASTERMIND?! HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!
Ok, seriously... any show that has Bruce Campbell, Tyrone from 3rd Watch and Dr Cox as SUPPORT CHARACTERS is awesomesauce in my book ok? I mean, look at it! It's not overly brainy, is fun, well paced, and i like the story. For me, Burn Notice is a very underrated show. I still need to pick up on Supernatural though, i stopped on Season 5!! So, old shows keeping up and new shows coming around, what you guys following this year? |

I'm probably going to have to watch Community, if only to be able to bitch about how they ruined it with accuracy. Or possibly to mourn the brighter timelines.
How I Met Your Mother is still a key part of my social life, and it's still very funny too, and possibly getting better about its problems . Plus, it's the longest running show I've seen that's always worked towards a specific ending, which even when they go and pad it out makes for such fundamentally much better stories than the standard "Let's keep spinning the wheels until they break" method of serialized publishing. And hopefully I'll be able to catch some Qi with my friends when we're all in that rare mental state to fully enjoy it. Such a demanding show to watch. It occurs to me that I haven't thought about watching TV when I'm alone for like five years.

From the 2 episodes I have seen of HIMYM, I can say that one of my primary problems is that most pf the main cast is funny except the one guy we're supposed to care about and he isn't even entertaining as a straight man.

Community and Once Upon A Time are basically the only current shows I bother to keep up with at all.

I'm enjoying Elementary, with Johnny Lee Miller as Sherlock Holmes in America.
I stopped watching How I met your Mother some time ago although I did make an effort to watch most of the episodes to see if it got any better. My problem with it was that it would get interesting, like Ted would meet a nice girl and hit it off and then at the end of the episode the voice over would tell you she wasn't the wife and that Ted wasn't over Robin yet, sucking all the tension out of the story.

The only things I care about this year are the finale of Fringe an the new seasons of Legend of Korra and Transformers Prime. Everything else is irrelevent.

Looking quite forward to the Spartacus: War of the Damned starting this month.
Most of the new series have not been very appealing to me. The Following looked mildly interesting but I heard it's bad. |
