A throne built out of AOL CDs.

So... someone found a cool use for all those stupid things. I applaud them for this, especially since the thing actually looks cool, and I want it. Note that it only took them 2 months to collect the 4000 or so discs used in its construction.

Hah, thats awesome. I once had like, 300 AOL cds. My friend worked at blockbuster, and he let us take the whole thing. We just had random fun with them. I think I still have some of them sitting around here somewhere.. I found a bunch outside when the snow melted last year, heh.

I'll bet you could if you're lightweight enough. I mean like around 200 pounds. You just can't have those Jerry Springer 900 pound guests.

Well, if you look through the pictures of the process they used to make it, they actually reinforced it properly (which it needed to be, CDs are flimsy), so yes, it can be sat in. You can see them doing so in some of the pictures.

Well, okay. I would think of lightweight as being 170 lbs, which I need to get back to. I was 6' 4" at that weight, too, so you know that I could crawl through a Fruit Loop.

That looks rather cool. And it's the only useful thing to do with that crap. |
