Pokémon Umbral Discussion 3: Like Poké Fables Except More Awesome...

Registeel replacing Rayleen and Dormond was more of a mass issue. Registeel is easily bigger than those two. Quote:

^^ *Is happy with fanservice.* ^^
But yeah, very intriguing stuff about the EEE. I hope Eevee gets an evolution that is pure flying. There are already no pure flying types in the entire game, unless you count Areceus wearing the Air Plate from what I heard. All the flying types that aren't other elements are normal types too. And here is the character list. I'll start editing my pokemon's current move set into the profile, and I advise the same for everyone else who hasn't already. Slayers Geminex (Ray Green:Impact) Armored Bishoujo's NPC (Rayleen) Trainers Bard (Charlotte Beaufort: Madame Ursurang) Menarker (Renny Tresserhorn) Dracorion (Pierce Granger) Pokebrids Naqel (Rakald Essertle: Bone Knight) DanteFalcon (Matthias Sona: Oberon) Raptor200 (Isaac Lucius) Armored Bishoujo's NPC (Rachel McConnelly:Princess) Snaggers Arcanum Darkfire (Mike Kenno) <(^.^<) "(^.^)" (>^.^)> Last edited by Menarker; 03-05-2010 at 02:27 AM. |

I'll reveal more of this later, but basically, while he does hate pokemon, he's no mindless rage-machine. He gave in to hatred once, when he killed the Pidgeot. After that he started channeling it. Impact sees it as his duty to protect people from pokemon. I'll have him tell the group about his time in the military, in a slayer squad, when his job was just that. He sees this duty as split into two sections: Everyday life: He's a member of the police force (or, previously, a vigilante) and he tries to hinder individual uses of pokemon to hurt ordinary people, non-trainers. Or even trainers, if their pokemon are used solely for companionship or such. What he hates is uses of pokemon by individuals to increase their own power or competence. Which leads in to the Grand Scale: Impact's convinced that pokemon and humans cannot live together. No matter how strong or powerful or smart pokemon are, they allow themselves to be used and enslaved by trainers. It is not slavery inasmuch as they perform service unwillingly, but as they perform service unquestioningly. And in the process, they give humans power and, often, freedom from its repercussions. It's basically his large-scale goal to restore society's independence from pokemon, to make trainers and pokebrids illegal. Of course, every trainer and pokebrid he sees is a symbol of the corrupting interaction between humans and pokemon. ... Anyway, what this is all leading up to is that if pokemon turn out to be indeed ruinous and corruption is ever a subject, he will say "I told you so" so very hard. Edit, after post. Ouch. That... hurt. And the fact that Omnisroth survived Charlotte's attack was slightly annoying. Still, good kill for Imact. Wasn't necessary, as the poison would have (most likely) finished it off, but still. Impact can put one hell of a notch in his gunbelt. And another one's to come. Dibs on killing the Gendom. Would one attack by Impact be enough, or would another be necessary? Anyway, let's look who's left alive: 3 Paralyzed Pulverots 3 Narchams 1 Gendom I'll have Impact attack the Gendom. If Renny deploys Swampert next, it could go Outrage on one of the Narcham's asses. If Rachel heals Matt in time, we should be able to take out another Pulverot with a Registeel/Psychic/Rio combo. Mike's Charizard should be able to kill another Narcham. Pierce could maybe deploy his Skarmory and support Impact against the Gendom. If the Gendom dies in one hit, Skarmory could attack the remaining Narcham. Same for Charlotte's Arcanine. That'd leave us with 2 Paralyzed Pulverots 1-0 Narcham Unless, of course, the Gendom would still survive after being savaged by Pierce, Charlotte and Impact, in which case the situation'd be 2 Paralyzed Pulverots 2 Narchams 1 Gendom if we went with above plan. If the Gendom'd survive three combined attacks, I say that Mike's Charizard should hopefully be enough to finish it off. Of course, if the Gendom has tons of HP, Charlotte could re-deploy Spitz and go for another Super fang. Then Impact could hopefully kill it with Skarmory's help. Yeah, let's do that. Super Fang, Impact's blade, Skarmory's Iron wing. If Impact's blade is enough, Iron wing goes against one of the remaining Narchams. Is that good? Last edited by Geminex; 03-05-2010 at 04:01 AM. |

As long as you agree to support Impact, I'm good with anything. Let us crack this egg. Or I'm not sure. Is it an egg? What will it look like inside? More to the point, what will happen when it dies? Will it go quietly? Will it explode? Will we be showered by Ruin pokemon body parts?
Also, we really need to take out those Pulverots. I've only just realized that they have an increased crit chance, along with increased attack. They could probably kill two of us next turn, if they do it right. Of course, we're already committed for this turn, so it'll have to hope they get paralyzed, take whatever hits we have to. Unless someone interferes, we've pretty much won this... Oh, and let's open up a betting pool for plot twists. I put 500 internets on "EEE's Eeveelutions get infected by Ruin and we have to fight obscenely strong Ruin/Element Eeveelutions eventually. Also, any reactions to Impact's motivations? |

Geminex, why are we attacking the Genom again? The only thing it does is generates 1 Narcham a turn, and either uses a 50 power attack or boost every other Ruin types.
Wasn't the priority before to wipe out everything else out since now they got two boosts? (A Crit boost and an attack boost) Plus those things are the ones capable of group attacks or having STAB attacks with attacks around 120ish Power. EDIT: Damn, ninja'ed by the person in question himself... somewhat. Best to leave the egg alone until all the other threats are dealt with. Last edited by Menarker; 03-05-2010 at 10:43 AM. |
