Well, that explains why gA thought Rose was stupid.
I'm not sure why I'm getting impatient with all this dicking around, I think I just really want to get to someone's first face-to-face conversation. |

Hell no. They'd probably be all awkward and not-awesome at all. Seriously the chat logs (and characters) are probably the thing I like most about HS. Right after that the plot, then comes the music, which is rare but still awesome. Then the art.
Mind you, I love it all. Except for the time loops. If I wanted to make sense of time paradoxi and think in 4 dimensions, I most certainly would not be reading a webcomic. |

Dude, chatlogs are the sole form of communication for these people. :p It would still be a chatlog, it would just have a different name.
Seriously, shit is so close to getting real that it's starting to cause me physical pain. |

They have pills for that you know.
John handling the first conversation does explain a lot.

Looks like we're now at the start of the troll's antics, and Twin Armageddons' remarks sound oddly familiar.
I don't think I want to know what his wires look like. |

I guess it all sort of works a lot better if you've been obsessed with the various minutiae of temporal mechanics since early childhood.

I accept time-travel shenanigans more readily than heavy metaphysical themes. If it were any other comic, I would never tolerate the business with the waking self vs. the dream self and the dream self representing repressed personality traits and apparently living on the moon of a planet in a video game. MSPA only gets away with it because it's incredibly awesome.
Then again, I'm probably just bitter. My dream self lives on Deimos, and I have to spend the entire time chasing cacodemons off my lawn. Fucking Deimos. |

I'm fine with the metaphysical stuff, there's no problem there. That's logical. Cause and effect, even if it's hard to tell which is which. But when we see the present being influenced by the future, which is, in turn, influenced by both the present and the past, that's where it starts feeling a bit like work.
And seriously, fuck the interlude. That didn't even make sense. |
